The curious case of Sherlocks Heart (closed)

As her legs curl back, Sherlock resumes his deep stroke, wanting to push her over that edge. He watches her face, wanting to push her over the edge. He wanted to know she got what she needed before he finished. It was a point of pride to know his partner was sated.

She started deep into his eyes her eyes were pure feline gold as she quickly kissed him hard to muffle the roar of sheet pleasure that hit as her orgasm thundered through her system. Claws gripping tight to him as she trembled there with him.

The orgasm that ripped through Iara was the most powerful that Sherlock had ever felt. He was helpless before its power and couldn't help but join her. He felt like he came from deep in his soul, so powerful was his release. It felt like every sexual encounter he had before rolled into one. Their mouths pressed together kept the sounds just between the two of them. If they hadn't the whole block would have heard their mingling climax.

Once the intensityhad died down and the kiss broke for sheer need of air she purred a very happy and sated purr curling into his chest hugging him close. Her legs tangling with his as she nipped playfully and contented at his lips.

Sherlock lay over Iara as she curled happily against him. He let her kiss and lick his lips as he rolled to the side on the couch. He lay his head on the arm as he looked into this incredible woman's eyes. "I... am not usually like that..." he said, almost sounding like an apology, like he had done something wrong. Biting his lip, he seemed to be waiting for some assurance that she didn't affect his mind just now. Nothing would be more intrusive to someone like Sherlock than someone taking his control from him.

You are not accustomed to the more primal side of all mammals, are you?

She smiled softly at him.

Nothing happened that we both didn't want. You have done nothing wrong you merely explored and expressed quite wonderfully a side of you that you have no concept of with your logic-based life. What happened was normal natural and wonderful.

Don't think just tell me how that moment made you feel.

She hugged him close staring into his eyes. Soft purring reverberating to calm his concerns.

"The logical mind is the great gift that sets humanity apart from other animals. It is not something I take lightly or disregard purposefully. I've lived my life in pursuit of honing it." Sherlock began to say. Biting his lip, he nuzzled against Iara gently, feeling her purring against him.

"But what we shared was more intense than anything I've ever felt before. I've never felt so... alive." He admitted, looking into her eyes. "I worry that if I pursue that, I'll be denying the man I have worked so hard to become."

Don't look at it as having to deny one side over the other but bring the two together.

She licked at his lips softly

Sherlock still looked troubled despite her reassurances. "But I've never been that sort of man before. I've never been driven by my passions before. I'd feel careless, reckless if I acted on those impulses." He explains, trying to get her to understand.

It takes time. The first shift to a different form is like death. There is ao much pain as everything changes and relocates. For some after a handful of shifts they can get used to it or even ignore it. Some it takes hundreds of times to even be able to stand right away. I understand Sherlock. It's terrifying it's exciting but it's only one piece of the puzzle a piece that has perhaps been missing for a long time.

Moving around to better look into his eyes and be close to him she smiles.

Have you ever when solving a case had a feeling that something had to be a certain way or thing without logically knowing why?

Sherlock's brow furrowed. "Wait, ahve you made me like you? I thought that bite was so I could move freely among your people. I didn't agree to become one myself..." He said, misunderstanding what she was talking about. his fears about losing control of himself taking over and disregarding whatever else she was talking about.

No the bite won't change you. I was simply making a comparison. You dealing with more primal emotions is like one of my kind going through their first shift. It's terrifying and painful and exciting all at the same time.

Sherlock pauses, listening to what she says. His breathing slows and it's clear he's processing what she says. Eventually, he nods. "It's another step in development, I suppose. If I approach it as such, I can imagine I will be able to consider these new experiences." He says, sharing his mental state. "As you say, it might take me some time to embrace this new way of living."

If my staying here is a problem I can leave Sherlock. I do not wish to cause you any stress.

She closed her eyes listening to his heartbeat.

Sherlock squeezed her a little. "No! No, please stay..." He says a bit more calmly as he realized how loudly he blurted out his initial response. "I would like you to stay with me... with us, I mean..." He says, trying not to move too fast or presume too much.

I would love to stay here with... You and the others.

She smiled letting him know she understood what he wanted and his fear of it.

I like London. As well as that little fish and chips shop not too far from Baker St.

She snuggled feeling safe and at peace if not at... Home here in his arms.

Is there anything else that troubles you or you wish to know Sherlock?

Sherlock smiled, hearing that she liked the chip shop down the road. It was a guilty pleasure of his as well from time to time. He slid down a bit to lay on the couch beside Iara, arms wrapped around her. Feeling her curl against him felt as much as a pet cuddling because it feels safe; it was dual purpose in a way.

"My only worry is about your world; I worry I'll see things or hear things that I can't let go if I know the cases they would help settle. It will irk me to know things without being able to act on them," he mentions, knowing that's a possibility based on her case.

"Speaking of, don't forget that we still have to pin all these murders on someone," he said in a half-joking manner.

The human will in his own way do that for us may take a day or two then I have my royal visit to tend to and after that...

She licks his lips curling close to him before nipping softly at his neck.

I am all out of anything to do till the next time my unique skills are needed. Can't imagine what I could possibly do.

She winks at him and smiles.

Sherlock smiles. "Well, I do still need to make an appearance and work my other cases in the meantime. I cannot take a long time off to entertain my new house guest. It doesn't matter how much I may want to." He adds, leaning in and kissing her back finally. All her playful nips and licks had made him hungry for a deep, meaningful kiss again.

Pressing into the kiss with a purr.

Well then tend to your cases and we will merely see how this progresses for you.

That shimmer to her eyes still softly there as she stared into his eyes.

Sherlock smiled, running his hands over her body. Looking past her, he saw the time on the wall. "Dammit, they probably are waiting on dinner for us." He said, scrambling over her to find his clothes. Quickly redressing, he looked over, somewhat embarrassed. "If it's alright, I'd like to slip down here tonight, if you're going to be here." He asked, pulling on his top as he spoke.

I will be here unless I am upstairs... With you.

A wink and a taunting smile curled her lips as she got dressed once more. Walking with him upstairs she looked around and nodded to Mrs. Hudson and John who seemed to study Sherlock for a long moment.

Well now let's eat.

John nodded at Mrs. Hudson's words and sat down.

Lestrade has managed to track down a bookie that most of the victims have in common he is going to pick him up tomorrow.

A sharp throat clearing from Mrs. Hudson silenced shop talk from the table quickly.

"Well, perhaps Lestrade isn't quite as inept as his past performance might indicate," Sherlock retorted as he joined John and Mrs. Hudson at the table. "Hopefully, that will be the end of things and calmer days will reign from here on."

Sherlock took a seat across from Iara, not wanting to be too obvious about how their relationship had changed downstairs. He also didn't want John and Mrs. Hudson thinking they were right about him needing love in his life. It would be an avalanche of smugness around 221B if he allowed them that victory.

Iara smiled.

I hope it is a good lead for him. Dinner smells wonderful.

She smiled nodding to Mrs. Hudson who gave John a knowing look as she watched them take seats opposite each other. John simply nodded to Iara's words and held up a glass of wine.

A toast...

Iara and Mrs. Hudson held up their glasses as well.

To new friendships.

"To new Friends" Sherlock reiterated, clinking glasses around the table. He couldn't help a longer look into Iara's eyes before taking a sip. Sherlock helped serve things on his end of the table, passing plates and dishes around until everyone was satisfied. Eating quietly, he opted to listen, wondering if one of them would make some comment about him and Iara.
