Welcome to The Coven of Night or the Ravenspire Coven as it has come to be called. Located in the heart of New Orleans French Quarter rests the large mansion, Ravenspire Manor, which has been home to the members of New Orleans oldest and most influential families. Though none of the member of the household are related by blood they are all related by something much stronger than blood; secrets. Unbeknownst to the rest of the town all of the occupants of Ravenspire are vampires. Formed in the 19th Century by elder vampiress Belle Morte, the Coven has become a deeply woven part of society in the French Quarter. Now in the 20th Century the clans influence has seeped and spread into many facets of society, both public and political.

However the Coven is shaken by the death of its matron. With the passing of Belle Morte comes the passing of old ways. Left without leader the Coven is in a tenuous position. However it is at this time that vampiress Leislotte steps up to claim the role of Mother of the Coven. However unlike the kind and generous Belle Morte, Leislotte has other plans for the Ravenspire Coven. A cold and ruthless woman with an iron grasp on the New Orleans underworld, Leislotte will use any means at her disposal to achieve her ultimate goal; to make the Ravenspire Coven the single mot power force in all of New Orleans. Those who are not with her are against her; be they human or vampire.​

This is the OOC for characters playing vampires and humans either allied with or against Leislotte. If you are interested in joining just make a character sheet which you can on to me for approval. Once at least four roles are filled I will be posting the IC.​

Skills/Powers: Leislotte's is a psychic vampire and can frequently use her powers to control the minds of others as well as preform acts of telekinesis. Her power is so strong that she can cause people to experience hallucinations by looking into her eyes. She also has the power to syphon people's energy with her touch.

Background:
Born in what was a still developing Japan, Leislotte is much older than she appears. One of the twin daughters assumed to be born of the divine union between a priestess and the spirit of a shinigami (Japanese death god) she was raised behind the walls of a shrine. Leislotte had a darker nature than her kindhearted twin, and exhibited signs of vampirism at a early age while her twin Ashlotte showed signs of possessing strong psychic abilities.

Leislotte sought to train herself in the control of her vampiric impulses and realized that she couldn't get the training she desired within the walls of the shrine. At the age of 11 she left the shrine alongside her twin sister to be trained at the imperial palace, during which time she fell in with a group of vampires called the Kurosakura. However being amongst the human intolerant Kurosakura warped Leislotte even more making her slightly sadistic and disdainful of humankind.

It was this warped mindset that motivated her when Leislotte lured her twin to a frozen lake. After drugging her with hallucinogen that would soon become her trade mark she tossed her twin beneath the ice and held her under til the bubbles stopped. It was at this time that Leislotte realized that she could absorb the powers life force of other beings through touc

With growing power and ambition Leislotte sought out more challenge and enters the underworld, making a name for herself in darker circles and becoming know for the ruthless efficiency with which she ran her business. Her love for drowning her enemies in freezing water, paired with her unusual physical characteristics gained her the name Snow Witch. Over the years she has traveled the world in search of power. As a result she is now fluent in over 15 languages

Personality: A classic sado-masochist Leislotte can show two distinct sides of her personality, one the cool aloof side that she shows to those she seems lower of her and a softer more submissive side when around someone who displays a dominance over her.

Not much is known about her past, only that most people who know her disappear, are killed, or take their own lives. She is coy and sneaky, but unafraid to take a life. She has enough of a status among the elite to socialize and converse with the upper class, but she typically remains an outsider, although often they come to her for help, which she rarely gives to them for free.

Personality:Nathaniel is a quiet, solitary sort, though he does open up to people as they get to know him. He is careful about touch peoples' hands because he has trouble controlling his psychic abilities. He is a bit OCD.

Bio:Nathaniel grew up in New York State. He is the son of a Baptist minister and grew up in a very strict household. His parents did not tolerate drinking, dancing or swearing. He was a virgin until he went away to college. There was some physical abuse in the relationship between him and his father. Despite his upbringing, he still believes in God, but not quite the God of his parents.

When it was time to leave for university, he moved far away and attended The University of New Orleans. At university he studied library science. Despite breaking some of his parents' rules against the taboo, he lived a fairly quiet life.

For the last four years now, since graduating, he has served as the head librarian of a local branch library in a tough section of New Orleans. He has a small Victorian house in the French Quarter, a dog named Silas Marner, and a mortgage he struggles to pay.

3. If you are going to be missing a day please alert me...! That way I can transfer your character into an Away status until you can return.
4. Don't assume anything for anyone's character... Have the curtesy to ask....
5. Be respectful to your other writers so please no non-plot relates arguing.

Special Skills: With but a glance Xavier can captivate whom he chooses. But his touch is what is deadly. With the ability to heighten emotions, he can make you more terrified or more aroused with but a caress of his hand.

Personality: Xavier has seen quite a lot in his 900 years of life. Too many wars to count them all. Those were always the best, quite a lot of feeding during those times. He fought in the wars, always the winning side, he made sure of that.

He tends to know what he wants and doesn't have a problem getting it. When he heard about the loss here in the states, Xavier decided it might be time to expand. Settle down, get some roots.

Bio: Xavier was born in the 1100, a viking warrior. He was one of the ones who found Greenland. It should've been called Redland though. That is when he was turned. He was sent back to convince more people to come to this great land. He was strong and loyal and fought with his coven vampires. But his Master got foolish and tried to go too far. That got his Master slain. After that Xavier was on his own.

By this point he had been alive for almost two hundred years. One gets bored living so long, but no Xavier. He travelled throughout Europe and Asia. Saw much of the lands. It was this that kept him entertained and not too crazy.

During the 1600s he settled down in France. Enjoying the arts and the mastery. When he heard of the colonies to the west, he donated money, to see the lands get settled. But it would be much longer before he would ever make his way to America. A vampire on a boat, could get confusing for the blood.

But now, there are airplanes to fly in, and travel is so easy. When he heard about the coven's leader dying, he decided perhaps he should visit America, to see what all of the fuss is about.

For later hunts yes it would be nice to have potential victims, also it is okay to create any background characters necessary for the plot. Also just to keep the confusion down we might have to tag the post with either location or who you are currently with, at least until all the characters begin interacting... Skills: From a young age has an affinity for Machinery. He can design, build, restore and maintain anything.
Bio: Born and raised in Cajun country, to ideal parents Stephan and Anna Devereux. Late one night Ben was swept from his bed, Maryanne took her only child hiding him away. Two rogue vampires chose to prey on the young family, fight as the young couple might were savagely murdered as their child watched. Ben's Aunt Gena and Uncle Aubry Lafitte, being the closest next of kin were called in by the Police. Taking Ben in, they lovingly nurtured the child as their own son.

Fourteen years later Ben attends Lafayette High School, right off he never fit in with the ''cool'' cliques. Being one of the ''misfits'' every school has, making close friends he was the protector of the outcasts. Sent to detention more often as not, it was usually for arguing with a teacher, or kicking a bullies asses. Frequently his punishment was light or he was let off entirely, they saw him as gifted and and intelligent young man.

After graduation Ben attended the closest Community College, not fitting in here either this wasn't very surprising at all. He just didn't blindly accept the Professors so called vaulted knowledge, often proving them wrong before the student boby. Called into a meeting with the Dean and disgruntled Professors, he was read the riot act informed his behavior wasn't acceptable. Tired of College Ben told them in no uncertain terms, that they all could go fuck themselves.

Ben didn't even look back on this chapter of his life, he was bound and determined to make in on his own. Reluctantly talked into taking loans by his adoptive mother, she was always able to through the him. Accepting the loans he swore to pay back the first opportunity, starting a garage specializing in custom cars and bikes. It was hard go of it the first few years, with unadulterated hard work business had eventually picked up.

Those that humbled themselves to the Coven were well off for it, those that hadn't we're left to get by on there own. Ben wasn't one to kiss anyones ass, especially the damned blood sucking coven bitches. In his limited off time Ben designed and built weaponry, Slayers wanted the best so they came to him. Slayers were secretive elusive loners like himself, being professional they made sure not to give him up.

Devereux's Custom's also has Vampire and Human clientele, hidden bunker and workshop for Anti Vamp weapons design and production off limits obviously. Ben might not like the blood suckers anymore than the next, but those that would appreciate fine craftsmanship in automobiles can't be all bad. Anything you want my character to do to help the storyline let me know.

She remembers a great deal of fighting but does not remember how, and her time serving her mistress Leislotte. She is willing to do anything everything for her without question, and willingly gives blood to her and guests. She has developed a kind of love for Leislotte, always smiling up at her when she enters the room, always hoping she'll want to use her body. Liana seems a little sad and confused at times, but her loyalties are very clear.

Background:
Born in France to an aristocratic family Karma has always been seen as an eccentric child. At a young age she discovered her ability to talk to animals. As she grew up she learned to master this ability eventually using it to her benefit to start training attack dogs for a Slayer organization called Covenant, who's mission is to foster proper human-vampire relations. It was also during this time that she also had the strange ability to influence luck. She received full Slayer training specializing in combat with a blessed katana. She frequently brings her dogs with her into combat especially her pet Crucible.
