His aunt's old Victorian mansion made the perfect setting for a costume party. Will had inherited the house from his Aunt Esther a few months before, along with all of her period furniture, but still hadn't moved out of his apartment. He had thought about selling the old house, because the taxes were going to kill him, but hadn't had the nerve yet. It still held good memories.

Will taught social sciences in the local high school. He got a lot of personal satisfaction from his job, but very little monetary benefit. Even if he scrimped and saved, he knew something would have to give.

Finally he decided to raise money for the taxes by throwing a massive costume party. He had advertised everywhere he could. For only $25 dollars entry fee, you could have an evening of free food, free beer and free music. He had also said that no one under age 21 would be allowed in, since alchohol would be served.

Will had taken at least a minor amount of thought with his costume. He was wearing hat with squirrel ears, goggles and a brown leather bomber jacket over an indigo leisure suit. There was a hole through the pants of his leisure suit from which emerged an enourmous, furry tail.

The house had a massive main hall that opened directly from the covered front porch. The room had a long, carved, oak staircase leading up to the second story. A long gallery rail surrounded the second story landing, where people could look down into the main hall. The floor of the main hall was polished marble and Will had arranged all the chairs he could rind around the edges of the room. A buffet table and beer keg was set up on one side and a DJ was all set up in one corner. The music was already pumping. The DJ had promised a mix of club dance music along with some old fifties favorites. He had set up a flashing strobe that made the dark main hall seem even more otherworldly than it already was. Actual candle stands with burning candles were set up around the room and provided the majority of the light. A massive crystal candleabra hung over the hall, but was set on dim.

The upstairs bedrooms had all been cleaned somewhat, so they were habitable. The kitchen had been put off limits by the small staff that were catering the party. He had cleared out the parlor that was right off of the main hall and brought in comfortable thrift store couches, bean bag chairs and lava lamps. He had also set up a card table. If anyone was bored, then could go in their to play truth or dare, just hang out, or play a game of cards. The DJ had promised that no one would be bored though.

A few friends had already arrived to help set up, but it was time to open the doors and get the party started. Will checked his costume, glanced over at the the long buffet table, and opened the doors.

RULES: (Follow these, or be asked to leave.)

You must provide a costume picture the first time you post! You just need to paste the address for a picture into the box that pops up when you click on the little yellow icon at the top. Anyone can join, but you need a picture. They are easy to find by doing an image search for costumes. There are lots of sites like fatalwomen.com, costumeuniverse.com and 3wisheslingerie.com.

Unlike some games I am in, I am not trying for anything artistic or literate here. This is just for some quick fun. BUT please try to do a decent job with your writing. Posts with one sentence aren't any fun for anyone. Posts are difficult to figure out do to tons of puncuation and spelling errors are not fun.

With any game like this, there is a potential for someone to become irritated with your attentions. Any in-game irritation is fine, but if someone PMs you to go away, please do. Be an adult or don't join. Pissing people off will just get you on their ignore list anyway.

I couldn't believe that my good friend Will was throwing a party at his Aunt's old victorian home finally. It was the first thing I had suggested when he inherited it, but all he kept talking about was taxes. Will was never the kind of guy to ask for help, and he always managed through all his problems. I was just glad that he seemed determined to have a little fun. I had been trying to get him to finish some of his writing, I wanted to publish him; admittedly more because he was my friend, world issues held little of my attention these days. I really supposed they should, but I've always been more of a socialite. My publishing firm would usually send me to functions and to do any promotions, I wasn't running it yet, but I would some day.

I arrived early to see if Will needed any help setting up, but by the looks of things he had everything under control. Will told me if I wanted I could make myself comfortable behind the bar if anyone needed anything. I took my spot and begin making some martinis. Will asked if LeAnne would be here tonight, which I replied she wouldn't miss this for the world.

Will looked his old friend Spencer up and down. "You old dog... Going for the Hugh look eh? Well your a big enough pig to pull it off." He felt fine teasing Spencer. He was one of his oldest friends. Even though the world knew Will as a high school social studies teacher, only Spencer knew of his secret desire to write novels.

Will had been writing stories since high school and had even tried to be an English major. That D- in poetry in his sophmore year had dampened his plans. The professor had fancied himself a poet and had wanted them to memorize some of his poems. Will told him off, which pissed the prof. off, which caused him to be screwed over in the course. It was then he switched to Secondary Education, History and a minor in sociology.

Spencer was walking over to the bar. "Sorry mate, but we only have beer." Will was talking now with a terribly bad Australian accent. "I'll throw yer shrimp on the barbie though." Will flapped his squirel tale at Spencer, then jogged over to open the front doors. He was hoping for a long line of waiting cash.... ah... party goers.

"Nothing flashy, or trashy, and above all it must be purple." She had meant it only to remind her friend that while Maddy had the assets to pull off (or fall out of) any costume that she wanted something comfortable.

When she opened the box she was not at all surprised to see a Gypsy costume, after all Maddy knew how to read palms and had a set of Tarot cards somewhere. She took a quick shower to tame her hair and slipped into the costume. Nothing like a party where you wear something you'd otherwise never wear to cheer you up. Her friends assured her it would be a blast well worth the paltry entry fee, and besides Maddy always wanted to see the inside of the house it was at.

Rocker Girl
I had to get out, this party was just the perfect excuse. I couldn't believe everything that just went down with my now ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend. I had to remind myself not to think about it. This night was about me meeting new people and having fun. Now that school was done it was time to let loose. I had been deciding on a costume for quite some time before deciding on this sexy rocker girl number. I thought I looked hot in it. I even bought a long black wig to go with it. More to the point the idea behind tonight was to meet new men (or women, the thought crept back into my mind - I had to tell it to be quiet, afterall that's how things got messed up last time).

I looked at the address on the flyer, scanning the dark street. I held my arms close to my chest, it was chilly out. I looked one more time at the flyer to confirm that I had the right place. It looked massive and creepy from the outside. The perfect horror movie setting I thought. I climbed the stairs and handed over my $25 and coat to some cute guy in a blue coat with a tail. He introduced himself as Will.

"Hi Will, nice to meet you, I'm Gloria. That's a very interesting costume you have".

Jessie was never one to turn down a party. Sure, as the school secretary, she had to stay calm, cool, and collected- and present herself in a demure way. But when Will slipped an invitation to his party onto her desk before a meeting with the principal- a costume party, no less- she was absolutely ecstatic. Finally! A reason to let loose!
The perfect outfit had already been on her mind the day she got the invite. Now slipping her hat on, followed by a silver pair of aviators, she opened the car door and stepped out. The tightfitting black skirt and loosley tied black shirt only made the silver handcuffs on one hip and the shining nightstick on the other stand out even more as she walked towards the house, her high black boots clicking away on the pavement.

OCC: Gloria, you need to link a pic of her outfit, if possible.

IC: Will looked at the rocker chick. "Hi Gloria, I'm Will. I made the costume myself, so there isn't anyone to blame. You look familiar, like I taught you in class. Better show me your ID. The party is only for 21 year olds, because we're serving booze."

He spotted a rather hot cop coming up the walk. For a moment he was worried, especially with an apparent minor trying to gain entry, then realized it was definitely just a costume. Then he was sure. It was Jessie, the schoo secretary... That wasn't possible. She had never looked that way at school.

Jessie

Jessie stood there on the sidewalk with her arms folded, a solemn look on her face as she frowned, her bright red lips jutting out slightly as she stared at him. A slow grin crept onto her face as she saw him realize who she was, taking off the glasses and winking at him. "Hey Will... I'm thinkin' of quitting to be a cop. Like the new uniforms the city's giving out?," She laughed, taking out the $25 from her only available money pocket- between her breasts.
She handed it to him, glancing over his costume and giving another laugh as she saw the tail. "Can I pet that later?," She asked, slipping past him and through the door.

Will had been staring at her money pocket, so he missed most of what she said, but he did get the part about petting his tail. "Sure, but be gentle. It's a little sensitive."

He watched her walk in quiteintensely, then turned back around. He was still waiting for the girl to produce her driver's license
.

Jessie

Jessie only shot him a smirk, heading over to the bar and leaning against it, looking at the Hugh-alike manning it at the moment. "Hey there," She beamed, sticking the sunglasses into that ever-convient pocket. "What's Will got for drinks? By the way, love the costume." She gave a smile, then looked back towards the door. "Any idea, uh, what the hell he's supposed to be?," she asked softly, shaking her head. "The tail's cute and all but- I have no idea what he's going for with it."

IC: I stood at the doorway as a totally hot woman dressed as a sexy cop pushed past us. I began to search myself for some ID

"Ah, I'm not totally sure I have my ID with me Will. I honestly didn't think it was going to be that kind of party. Guess I'm just not used to anyone giving a shit." I kept frantically looking for something that might convince him I was 21.

"I don't think I've seen you before. Are you a professor at my college?" I asked.

"Umm, no I teach at the local highschool actually" Will replied.

I began to laugh covering my mouth, I pulled my arms and coat away from myself as I gave Will a good look at me "Do I honestly look like I'm in highschool? You're not going to make this poor girl walk all the way back home just to get her ID are you? Because if you do I might not come back" I threatened with a wink.

OCC: I'm batting a thousand today. Sorry about that.

IC: Will did indeed give her a long- a long look. "No, you don't look like your in high school, but that has fooled me before. Look, go on in, but if we get busted, I will be pissed. This party is meant to raise money to save this old house, not to pay my legal fees." He stood to one side and held an arm out toward the door.

Catwoman

I stealthy crept towards the door...I was Catwoman...keeper of the night...and I was going to have fun this lovely evening.

"Hey, Sweetie," I purred into the young woman's ear. "You dropped this right after I parked the car."

I handed her the driver's licence she had dropped, stating she was 22 years old...5'10"...raven black hair...but not stating the obvious: SEXY.

"Oh. Thank you, baby," she smiled brightly and kissed me on the corner of my mouth. "I was wondering where it went to..."

"I was watching that sweet butt of yours as you walked away and saw it slip from your hands and hit the floor," I smirked and squeezed her behind for added effect.

She squealed and placed her hands on her voluptuous hips, "Can I come in now?"

"Uh...uh...uh..." It was apparent that the guy giving her trouble was now at a loss for words. "Sure."

"Thanks..." I purred before we made our way past him.

We had gotten thirty feet away from the door and ducked into a room on our right.

"I'm Gloria, Gloria Star..." the raven-haired beauty smiled, extending her hand, which I promptly shook.

"Bianca McCade," I smiled deviously, "But tonight..." I walked around her slowly and placed my lips by her ear. "You can call me, Catwoman."

Bluto Blutarsky

It had to be something disarming, loveable, non-threatening. For Jonathan Stark to begin to ingratiate himself into this quiet suburban community, the advertisement for the costume party was too good to pass up. But he had to select his costume carefully. This was Jonathan’s first year assigned to the organized crime bureau of the local FBI field office, and his assignment was simple: move into this typical American town with its good, everyday people and its old houses and wide streets, and attempt to find the source of the gambling operation that higher-ups in the bureau were convinced was being run somewhere close by.

His briefings prior to his assignment were sketchy, and information was scarce. There had been some talk of the gambling ring possibly being run out of the local high school - a teacher and a secretary were among the initial suspects. Other whispers had a local publishing executive expanding his reach into areas outside of books. Some early intelligence had also indicated something about a fortune teller. It was Jonathan’s job to find out what he could. And this party was to be his first step.

Bluto Blutarksy! Yes, it was perfect. Bluto had no secrets. No one suspected Bluto of being someone he really wasn’t. With Bluto, what you saw was what you got. Of course, Jonathan would play it up just right. Before the night was over, he might wrap himself in a toga, do the “gator” dance, and maybe pour mustard on himself. All of these thoughts raced through Jonathan’s head as he approached the front door of the old Victorian house and paid his $25 to the man in what appeared to be a Rocky J Squirrel costume. Jonathan hesitated before he crossed into the house, knowing once he did, there was no going back.

Jessie the hot secretary at Will's school showed up. She was dressed in a very sexy cop outfit. Will must be having a fit, I know he's had a thing for her for a while. She saddled up to the bar and asked about drinks.

"Unfortunately we've only got beer right now, love, and thanks I'd be lying if I said I wasn't thoroughly enjoying yours as well" I said as she laughed. We both looked out at the doorway checking on Will. He seemed to be engaged with another woman. Jessie then asked me what Will was supposed to be.

"To be honest, I haven't got a clue. I was hoping you could tell me." We both chuckled. "What say you to some real alcohol?" I asked.

"Sure, but I thought we only had beer here?" Jessie questioned.

I reached into my pocket pulling out my cellphone while looking straight into Jessie's eyes. I dialed LeAnne who was still on her way over, I thought maybe I could catch her in time and she could pick up some hard stuff for us.

"Hi, listen I was wondering if you could do me a favour?... Do you think you could stop by the store and pick up some real booze, Will's only got beer?... Great, yeah, just use my credit card and I'll pay for your way in as well" I hung up the phone "Done, should be here soon" I said to Jessie. I excused myself to see what Will was up to and to give him the entrance fee for myself and LeAnne, and to get a closer look at the girl he was talking to.

As I walked over she was being escorted in by a catwoman, we exchanged glances as they walked by. Will was manning the door. I walked over and stuffed $50 into his pocket.

"That's for me and LeAnne" I said, "Who's the hotty you were talking to?" I asked. Will told me her name was Gloria, and how he was sure he'd seen her before even though she had ID saying that she was 22. I tried to comfort him and then told him about the alcohol on the way. I also suggested he go in and enjoy his party, and that if he wanted I could man the door, if he wanted to go over and talk to Jessie for a bit. We both looked in as she waved at us from the bar.

LeAnne Morrison

LeAnne had just hung up the phone when she heard the cabbie laying on the horn outside. "Yeah, yeah," she grumbled. "I'm coming. I'm coming." Flicking off the lights, she grabbed a coat and hurried outside.

"Where to?"

She chuckled. Why did they always ask that when you had to give your destination when you phoned in the first place? Nevertheless, she repeated the address adding, "By way of Aldrich Liquors. I have to pick some things up."

Forty five minutes later, Spencer's card was a hundred and twenty dollars lighter and the cab was just pulling up Will's drive. "Haul it up to the house and... " LeAnne paid the fare and slipped the guy a hefty tip as she led the way up to the door.

"Hey, Will," she grinned, kissing him lightly on the cheek as her eyes fell on Spencer. "Hey, you." The kiss she gave him was much more intimate. "Liquor's coming... bought and paid. And so was he, so don't bother re-tipping," she said, gesturing over her shoulder at the cabdriver who was almost staggering under the weight of several encased clanking bottles.

Jessie

Jessie grinned as Will and Spencer turned around at the door, giving a wave before leaning over the counter to grab a beer. The liquor was already being escorted in by a woman in a maid's costume... but starting the night with one beer wouldn't hurt anything. She popped it open with her handcuffs (what other use did she really have for them?) and took a long sip, leaning against the bar and looking around the room.
The house was actually pretty nice... Sure, still a bit on the creepy side, but it seemed to be a good fit for Will. Better than that hole he lived in now and called an apartment. She wondered if he had enough stuff to even fill the main room.

Will stuck some other stiff on the door and went in to the bar. Spencer was still serving drinks when Leanne can in and gave Will a quick peck. She gave Spencer quite a long peck, with her tongue and lips. Will couldn't help but stare for a moment. He leaned against the bar, waiting for his best friend to get done kissing his girl. All Willl knew about mixing drinks was that a bit of beer tasted good in his Pepsi.

He saw Jessie waiting and grinned at her, then rolled his eyes. "They're mixing something there alright, but I'm not sure its a margarita."

Gloria Star

Well that was luck, especially considering that the license that was handed to me wasn't even mine. I was about 5'10", but I definately wasn't 22 and I didn't really have raven black hair, guess I got my money's worth from the wig. Either way it was enough to convince the guy at the door to let me in. I pocketed the license, wondering who's it was as I followed Catwoman into the house.

We made our way into what appeared to be the parlour of this ancient house. I wondered if it was haunted. We sat down as we made introductions. Bianca sent a shiver up my spine as she spoke into my ear telling me to call her Catwoman. She was definately a convincing version. She was definately sexy, but I wasn't that drunk yet. I stood up looking her right in the eye and saying "How about a drink?"

Suzanne Tremoil got out of the cab and tugged up the bodice of her princess costume once again. "Jeez, this was a stupid idea," she muttered. "I keep feeling as if I am going to pop out of this top. I don't know anyone here. I don't even like these kinds of parties. This was such a stupid idea."

But the cab had left, the guy at the doorway of the Victorian house had seen here and she had paid for the costume. The salesman at the costume shop had insisted that with her long legs and large bosom, this was the perfect costume and Suzanne had been in a huge hurry so had taken his word for it. Now she was stuck in four inch heels under a full length gown that was hard to maneuver. She had to admit though that the cut of the gown made her feel elegant. Now if she could keep her top in place and the lame crown on her head, she might just make it through the next hour or so.

Walking up the broken sidewalk carefully, all she needed was to trip and end up looking up at some guy from the ground to make her night, Suzanne tried to look like she was the princess her gown said she was. With an elegant sweep of her hand, she gave her identification and donation money to the man at the door, who never lifted his eyes from her chest level. Suzanne sighed softly, it was going to be a long hour. It wasn't as if she asked for this much flesh on top, blame her mother and grandmother. She just happened to come from a family that was all legs and breasts. Giggling to herself as she had the picture of a chicken pop into her mind.

There were a few other people here but Suzanne was looking at the house itself. After all that was why she was there, to check out the house. Moving slowly through the entry way to the parlor? livingroom? whatever room, she admired the handpainted ceiling beams, the dainty flowered wallpaper, the oval mirror handing on the wall, where she paused to tug up her bodice again. She knew it fit fine, and that she wasn't really going to be exposed, it just FELT like it. She wasn't used to showing this much flesh. As a real estate agent, she usually dressed in modest blouses, simple dresses, lightweight jackets. Fancy ball gowns were way beyond her experience, which in truth, was why she had agreed to take it. It was a magical night made for princesses and, looking around, she noticed a few other interesting characters, to visit the Victorian that had been a major part of the town's architecture for over a century.

Suzanne had fallen in love with the old relic when she was a little girl, and she wanted to own this house more than anything else in the world. She had been waiting and waiting for the owner to die, well not waiting for her to die but rather waiting for the house to become available. She had started saving with her first babysitting job and had a sizable amount of money in the account now that she was working full time and had been successful in the real estate market for more than five years now. Tonight was her very first opportunity to actually see the inside of her dream home and so far she was falling in love all over again.

"A drink sounds just lovely, my precious..."

"Well, what'll you be drinking tonight?"

"I don't know...I think I'll live on the edge a little and stray from milk," Bianca laughed. "Whatever you're having."

"Well then, two cosmos coming right up," Gloria tossed her fake hair and walked away. "Stay here!" she called back to her.

"Oh don't worry," Bianca purred. "I'm not going...anywhere."

Bianca definitely found Gloria attractive. True, she didn't fit the licence description, but obviously her show had worked. They underaged girl and her had distracted Will enough so that he didn't even bother to look at her non-matching ID.

It was a common trick she used as an icebreaker....and often on clearly over 18, but under 21 girls...to get what she wanted.

But Gloria was different. She oozed sex appeal and was stunning. Bianca had always found rockers sexy, being a former one herself...

Will saw the rocker chick and the cat woman approuching the bar. He had also saw the kitty's oh so subtle slide around the rocker chick. And to think they probably weren't even drunk yet.

Will realize that Jessie didn't hear him, and it hadn't been that great a joke, so he moved on onto the dance floor and did a little shimy with himself. He didn't have a clue what the song was, other than that it was techno. He missed his college days when any dance worth it's salt played It's The End Of The World As We Know it and Twist It. The dance mix crap was what the people wanted, or so he imagined. Still, it just wasn't the same somehow. He danced anyway, not worrying if anyone though he was weird. His friends were already of that opinion.

Jonathan Stark

As the people arrived in numbers at the party, it was difficult for Jonathan not to look at them all as suspects. It was a fine line he was walking, keeping his eye on everyone while trying to appear aloof and carefree as Bluto Blutarksy.

It was difficult to keep appearing carefree while working, especially when one of the first things he saw was Catwoman passing what appeared to be a fake ID to the Rocker Chic. Jonathan knew the ID was fake. The Rocker Chic gave herself away when she looked at the back. Long ago in his training as an FBI agent, he had learned that people inspect both sides of a fake ID...if its really their own, they look at the picture on the front and nothing else.

Hmmmmm...already his mind was churning things over. Fake ID's were a traditional source of income for organized crime. Was the Catwoman a supplier? The Rocker Chic a buyer? Are they in this together? Doesn't look like they even know each other.

Jonathan looked away, afraid he would be noticed staring at them. Seconds later, his eyes were given a gift when in walked the Princess.

Gloria Star

I got back from the bar with two cosmos in hand. I planted them down in front of us on a table as I took a look around to see the house begin to fill up. A gorgeous woman dressed as a princess was just making her entrance. I scanned around the room and spotted Will on the dancefloor all by himself. I felt kind of bad deceiving him at the door earlier, but I really wanted to come to his party. I looked over at Bianca who was sipping her cosmo.

"I'm gonna go hit the dancefloor!" I said and booked it over there, leaving my drink unattended.

I raced up to Will and asked "Mind if I dance with you?" as I already began to move my hips to the music.

I escorted LeAnne and the cab driver into the house. I showed the cabbie where to leave the booze as he left the house. I took a minute to set up the bar for guests to help themselves as now that my beautiful LeAnne was about I'm sure I would be occupied. It was all I could do to keep my hands to myself as I eyed her up and down in her sexy french maid outfit. It was almost too much for me to take. We kept up our kissing war, when I tugged LeAnne by the arm. "Come on, let me show you the upstairs".

"What about Will?" she asked looking over her shoulder. Will was on the dancefloor alone, well that was until that little Rocker Girl joined him. "I'm sure he's fine for now" I said twitching my eyebrows at LeAnne.
