I offered a free book, PAYPAL® E-Mail Access Recovery, an account of how recovered from the loss of my main e-mail address. A lot of people took the free book, but the sales of my for pay books collapsed.
I plan to offer another free book, but not until the year 3000.

Sadly this is he common result of free for the most part these days. The aim is they like the free one and check out your others, but the reality is there are people who surf amazon and smashwords etc...looking for nothing but free books and never buying anything.

On the other hand the people that buy well....they buy so the free doesn't matter to them. Free keeps the vultures from ever buying.

Considering they proudly proclaim they have 60k plus free books on their site I am amazed anyone buys anything at SW.
