Thank you for all the good wishes. I know not all of my 10,000 posts have been welcomed by some of you. I went to work this morning convinced that by tonight, this thread probably would have turned into another battle thread about me. I'm happy that it didn't.
However, I don't have a sappy 10,000th post prepared. I didn't even think about it again after this morning until I logged on tonight and someone had sent me a kind PM about my post total. It has been a milestone day for me. Not because of the 10,000th post, but for an event in my RL that is far more important to me.
I've posted on several threads over the last many months about someone close to me being in a bitter divorce and custody battle. It isn't over yet, but the custody evaluation report was received today. The person in the custody battle will get sole legal and physical custody of the child involved. The husband will get supervised visits only and will be ordered to get help, including parenting classes, if he ever hopes to see his child unsupervised again. A brick that weighs at least 10 tons has been lifted from my shoulders with that report. The child, whom I love dearly, now has a chance at a normal life! It is a good day, one that I will never forget!

Now that is great news. I know how much that has been weighing on you. It is something that you cannot escape and you keep going through all the scenarios in your mind.
As for the 10,000 post. I did some rapid calculation and I should be there in the year 2012 at my current rate of posting. lol
