I love Barry Manilow.

I don't know what brought it on. I was driving when all of a sudden, I started thinking about Barry Manilow. I don't know why. No Barry Manilow song was playing on the radio. I don't listen to stations that play Barry Manilow (Do stations still play Barry Manilow?) I can't remember the last time I heard a Barry Manilow song.

Still, there I was, thinking about Barry Manilow. And I started making a list of all the Barry Manilow songs I liked. It was a surprisingly lengthy list. Sure, there is a high percentage of cheese in the Barry Manilow songbook, but still. Mandy. Could It Be Magic. Trying To Get The Feeling Again. Weekend In New England.

What else can I say?

I happen to love A&E's live specials and Barry Manilow's was the best I've seen. He was the kindest sweetest man to every long winded elderly woman who called and managed to say exactly the right thing to make everyone feel like they were not just seeing a concert but visiting with him. I watched the whole thing and even watched the replay cause I liked it so much.

Hi I am Julia and I love Nitelight uh I mean Barry Manilow. I love Mandy and Copa Cabana.

A friend of my sister only has AM radio in her car and listens to him. She helped us with a game of Note-ibility because she knew all the words to several Barry songs.
