The computer was taken over

I have 4 dogs who sleep at my feet while I'm online. If the doorbell rings they generally pull every power cord out of its socket or pull accessories off the computer desk, in the scramble to get to the door.

After all, Cat, we must keep our priorities straight. And, a sleeping kitty is higher than just about anything. :)

I have to fight my cat to keep off my computer while it's in my lap. I don't know if she wants the warmth or is jealous of the attention.

Not to threadjack, but what the heck IS it about cats and any sitting on any kind of paper or reading material?

I think that is the belief that the person who was reading should do more important things, such as scratching of ears, etc. In the case of the computer, it is probably warm. ;)

When I went to log on this morning I found myself pre-empted.

:cattail: Yay! Go kitty!

And I figure that cats go after reading material and computers because they see us reading or working on them all the time and they figure they must be important. And if they're important, then, of course, the most important member of the household (the cat) deserves to have them. In fact, the most important things in the house belong to the most important member, and said member of the household has every right to claim them as their own. :catroar:
