ok, so i went looking:
there are online vision tests for glasses!but the age range is 18-39 boo
you can also get a contact lens test using a smartphone app.
looks like you;re still gonna have to get seen by the in-house optometrist
Living in the same house and communicating here is so fucked up and such an obvious cry for attention.
Wondering how we can help y’all.

That's a start. There are already machines to check your blood pressure, pulse, your poor old feet for insoles, why not one to do an eye examination?

Hi ogg. Yes the two (main? fields of optometry, optics and vision science, sometimes fail to provide complete resolutions to our problems. Sorry to hear about your affliction; it doesn't seem to hinder your writing much. Sometimes on Monday's I feel as though I've contracted LEMS over the weekend.
Could you please ask him if there is any reading/research available on computer driven optic prescriptions?

Writing? I have Grammarly permanently active. I need it. I type with an eyepatch on one eye and I usually have two or three typos per sentence. (Five in that last one!)

The thing I didn't catch was the input procedure used in The Stanford Acuity Test Sounded like a job for Siri but I imagine it was just a keyboard, a subject, and a Tech to read the screen/script.
So it's really here. All that's needed is some interested people to but together the Software, Hardware, and Retail together.
