My wife and went out for a ride today. We missed being involved in a truly nasty accident onl because I had forgotten to turn the gas on on my bike. It was a scary scene and a sobering one.
When we returned home I found a message from my father, he had to cancel his drive to visit us because he had to visit the local E.R. He was suffering from Tinitus, Ear Pressure and Vertigo. I tried to call him back but no one answered. Finally I got hold of him and it turned out to be an Ear Infection.
By this time it was 1400. I had trimmed several fronds out of a palm tree, I had diagnosed the problem with the clothes dryer and ordered the parts I need to fix it and we had done the shopping for the next week. I was worn out and needed a break.
I set the alarm on my cell phone and stretched out on the Futon in the dining room. (My wife was passed out in the recliner in the living room.) I was looking at half an hours worth of down time.
When my alarm went off I found myself surrounded. Magi was curled up at my feet. Scrapper was curled up on my pillow and Squeek was stretched out on my chest. (Smokey was on my wifes shoulder and Bubba was on her lap.)
Our kids seemed to know we needed some purr therapy and gave it to us.
