Perhaps, 'SUPERIONS' is the best tag.

When was the last time you saw Brad Pitt in stripey support hose not knowing what day of the week it was and searching for his pills?

In his last movie or marriage, whichever came last.

The things I worry about

- My weight

-The fact I worry about my weight

-What I eat

-What I don't eat

-What people think of me

-Why I care what people think of me

-My relationship

-The Fiance

-My mum and dad

-Money

-The wedding

-The government

-Going into hospital next year

-Everything over which I have absolutely no control

-How much time and energy I waste in worrying.

My Grandfather gave me a very good piece of advice many, many, many years ago.

If you can do something about it then there is nothing to worry about, you have control.

If you can't do anything about it then worrying will just make you old and gray. Use that energy doing something about other problems you can do something about.

There's probably an easier way to say it but then he never was in a hurry.

I was inspired by Salvor's thread, Digital Large-Format Moleskine to start an odd bloggy little thing here.
I would have just threadjacked him, but that seemed mean so here are my thoughts for today:

- Word of the day: ululation. Like the way a cat's cry warbles in a rising falling pattern. It's such an onomatopoeic word, it's brilliant.

- I generally only know what day of the week it is because my contraceptive pill has it printed on the foil.

- I generally only need to know what day of the week it is so that I can accurately plan that evening's televisual viewing.

- Despite no exercising and only partially watching my diet, I've lost an inch off my waist. I wish I knew how I'd done this so I could repeat the experience.

- I put on my hipscarf and bellydanced while I cooked dinner the other night. I'm not very good, especially not while cooking.

- I am wearing over-the-knee multi-coloured stripey socks. They're truly pyschodelic, but noone can see them when I'm wearing boots and a long skirt :D

You can also pop a CD and do the ab exercises while driving

That list sounds way too familiar for the most part.

Hang in there hon :rose: Things will be just fine, eventually.

lol... don't worry (!) - I'm not, like, losing hair worrying... just when I need an excuse to chew the skin around my nails ;)

Am so tired now... think I may just pass out without taking off my makeup

I know I'm having a bad day when...

- I put 'have a shower' on my 'to do' list

- I prefer a frozen pizza (bleurgh) to a home cooked meal, because hell - *I'm* the one who'd have to do the home-cooking.

- 60 Second Makeover, the TV decorating show, seems like an appealing prospect for my afternoon.

- Christmas depresses me

- I want to write, but the most elegant form of erotica I can come up with is something along the lines of 'he shoved his big willy up her bum'.

- The only way to get any energy is to binge-eat an entire box of sugared cereal

- I manage to lose whole chunks of time staring blankly into space

- I'm glad to be on my own, because I don't have to worry about looking like a drooling moron when I spend whole chunks of time gazing blankly into space.

And another thing...

Moisturiser adverts - skin will feel plumped up with a dewy glow

*Dewy Glow*???????????

I'm sorry - do I *want* to look like I've been left out on damp grass all night? I think not. <sneers>

Rats, I was looking around for women left out on damp grass all night. Granted the two I found also reeked of booze and vomit, but their skin was positively glowing ;)

Works for me. ;) Must be the accent.

Things to do today

- Have shower.

- Find some fucking jam jar covers - rarer than fucking golddust those are.

-Make Christmas preserves.

-If can't do the first two then find some expensive already-made ones and buy them.

- Make fudge

- Try and force Fiance to go watch-shopping for his Christmas present. (Note to Fiance - not everyone likes to do their shopping on Christmas Eve dearest)

- Staple the paperchains because they keep coming unstuck.

- Do some coursework.

- Do some writing - nearly at the end now!

- Make dinner.

- Go to Carol service at Cathedral????????????????????????????????

Things I'm a little ashamed to admit...

- I cry at TV advertisements, TV programmes and films.

- I enjoy crying at the above. It's cathartic.

- I read through all the 9th annual Lit awards nominations in case someone had nominated me and, despite not really expecting to be there, was still a little disappointed when I wasn't.

- When I serve up food for me and the Fiance i usually give the best bits to myself

- I am supposed to be on a diet but have polished off two boxes of chocolates in a week

- and I am a little ashamed to admit that i am too cowardly to list the other things I am ashamed of.

*great big tight squeezy hugs*

You'd still be adored if you did, but I know that feeling all too well.

*ponders what to nominate V for other than her excellent taste in shoes*

:rose: :D

Well I know - why don't they have a shoe category? it's shocking, it really is... ;)

Have you read any of my stories? There's a fairly wide range of stuff...
