Lasher did you happen to catch The clarks the were here in Latrobe to open the Latrobe town fair with the red hot chilly peppers. A very good show with many folks there, Our Airport here in latrobe with be almost closed down for the big show and they have the bands with planes and helocopters flying them in and out aswell as they plan to have a medivac helo. standing buy....This poor little town just don't know what to do, There all so scared as to what is going to happen they keep thinking anout woodstock 99 and the problems they had.

Our news Just said that 34 states will be coming in for this show....Has anyone heard about this thing ?....It is call the Rolling Rock town Fair and has 12 bands playing at it. They are just scared what could happen here to there twon after the kids caught the woodstock 99 shit on fire.

Fire would be the least of my worries if my kids were going (which they wouldn't btw!)... women were raped in the audiences at Woodstock '99!

There has been a court case to stop this from happening and the County Shireff's refuse to provide the police for this thing also they got "private police"....to me this is bad also

If i remember correctly you have to be 21 to get into this Rolling Rock thing because a friend of mine has tickets (i live all the way near Philly) and my aunt who lives out that way says that they have hundreds of state and local policemen patroling the park instead of private duty security guards which is what posed a problem at woodstock99. just a lil thought to make some feel better.

HEY i was at woodstock and lemmie tell ya despite what other idiots went through i didnt! i brought a trailer with AC, A huge water tank and enough food to feed an army. how did i get to the feild before everyone else? thats what my chopper was for. i sat in the front, dead center. IT ROCKED!
(I also experianced 'free love' first hand when all the hippies got together after the show and had a huge orgy!)

Well that is good to hear I don't know if I belive it we have a big race today in a town up road.Way too much going on the news has been talking all about it...As for the wedding we will have Fatty's for everone who wants one right from the Wizard's stash......They have "Chill out tents" set up for anyone who needs them and Lots of water out there for those who need.....I hope it is ok for those that attend.

I was working last night, Wizard, so I didn't make it out for the free show. And the whole Rolling Rock Town Fair thingy has looked like a big pain in the ass to me from the start, so I won't be there today either.

Actually, I'm just waiting for The Clarks to get done playing rock stars (They've been opening for Steely Dan most of the summer, folks) and get back to the Burgh and do what they're supposed to be doing. I really miss the damn Dick Clark shows at Nick's Fat City on Wednesday nights. Ya know? No crowds, cheap beer, and they always manage to play some interesting covers to go along with the usual Clarks standards (last show I saw featured amazing covers of Roberta Flacks "Killing Me Softly" and Dead or Alive's "Brand New Lover", plus the 1 minute version of "Penny on the Floor", so......).

Oh, and did ya see Rusted Root is back together again, Wizard?? I missed the show at the IC Light tent last weekend, but it sounds like their gonna be doing a lot of local stuff thru the fall. I'm pretty excited about that.

One of the most amazing things I've seen was the day of the Plant & Page show back in, uhhh... ' 94, I think. They did a meet N greet at Grafitti before the show (Root that is, not Plant & Page), and did a 4 song set with nothing but an acoustic guitar and a couple of pickle buckets for percussion (anyone who knows Root knows that they are all about percussion). It was pretty fucking amazing... You don't get to see shit like that with big time Corporate Rock Stars (probably cause most of 'em can't play their own damn music anyways....).

I agree with ya there Lasher this dam Town fair , I just heard that the concert today is on pay per veiw....And the Clarks playing here in our town park was by far the biggest named band ever to play here and they had a hell of a crowd.....It was nice to see, I'd like to see the Parks bring them back again, they sold tee shirts and 50/50 tickets to pay for it...

Who the hell are the Clarks???? I did here about this show on 105.9 while I was in Wheeling this morning(I go there 4 days a week)...sounded like a big to do.

On a side note, to Xander and Angelique. I will be in Cuyahoga Falls on the 23rd of this month to see the Iron Maiden show...y'all goin?
