It was starting to get light out and it looked like it was going to be a nice sunny day. The light of the sun was warming Eldar up quite nice.
Eldar saw the edge of the forest coming up. He saw the burn spots where the forest had caught on fire. When he got close enough to the forest he sent his regrets about the forest's fallen friends. The forest was pleased to see him and wondered if Raven was ok. He told them quickly of the story and they seemed to be pleased with her well being.
Eldar was coming up on the wagon and could feel there was trouble there. He told the dragon to land a little distance from the horses so they wouldn't get scared. He jumped off the dragon and ran up to the wagon and didn't see anything, so ran to the back. Eldar had suprised Luathas a little and Luathas moved to attack the new intruder.
"Luathas, it's me."
Eldar put his hands up to seem non-treatening to the big cat. Then Eldar looked around and saw two dead humans and one other that was still alive but to scared and hurt to run. Luathas looked a little relieved that Eldar was back, but he looked around to see where Raven was.
"Raven is safe Luathas, let's take care of this human and then I'll tell you the story."
Eldar walked up to the human with a very ominous look in his eyes. The human knew who Eldar was and knew his death would be much worse then by the cat.
"Pleeaase don't kill me."
"I don't actually plan to kill you human. I want you to take a warning to everyone in your group. I know there are humans that take refuge in this forest. Up until now it was annoying but I ignored it. Now however, you have outlived your welcome. I have many friends in this forest and I will know if you are here. Any human still living in this forest after a week from now will be hunted down and slaughtered. Do you understand what I'm telling you?"
The human nodded his head that he understood.
"Good, then I suggest you get moving before I change my mind about you."
The human slowly got up and started limping east into the forest. Luathas wasn't very happy that Eldar let the human go, but he did nothing to stop it either. Luathas may have enjoyed killed the two but it had worn him out.
Eldar turned around to talk to Luathas. Eldar put his hands on the sides of the cat's head and showed him his memories of what had happened. When Eldar was done, Luathas sniffed Eldar's cloths to find Raven's scent and blood on him. The sent of Raven's blood on Eldar made the big cat growl at him.
"I showed you how Raven got hurt Luathas, you must trust me that she is safe. We need to be by her side soon because she will be quite worried about us when she wakes. Please get in the wagon so we can go to her. We must make haste so that Raven will not miss us."
Luathas was hesitant because he didn't want to leave this spot until he saw Raven, but he felt he had to trust Eldar at one point or another and why not start now. Luathas jumped up into the wagon and settled down on his blanket. Eldar quickly got up on the wagon and dispelled his dragon. Then he got the horses moving again.

Luclin had heard Raven scream and was quite alarmed. He crept up stairs to the room where she was and slowly opened the door. Then he saw movement under the covers on the bed.
"Are you ok Raven? I know you feel like you are in a strange place and you may be scared, but you are safe. I am Luclin, a friend of Eldar's. He told me to tell you when you woke that he went to get the wagon and horses and to make sure your cat is ok. He said he would be back by noon today. I have healed your wounds and you should not have any scares. I have food down stairs if you are hungry and there should be some cloths in the closet that will fit you."
Luclin saw Raven peek out of the covers to look at him.
