The Charmed Ones OOC

Hello everyone. I've been gone for a while and decided to start a group thread based on one of my favorite TV shows: Charmed.

For those of you who don't know what Charmed is, it's about these sisters born into being powerful witches destined to vanquish demons and otherwise protect all that is good.

I don't really have much planned out as of yet, and I'm quite open to where this thread might go. Essentially these new Charmed Ones will be the next generation from those in the show, all of them having P-names. (Power of Three? P3?) I'm hoping for around six people; The three Charmed Ones, their Whitelighter, and two other participants.

For the main story I figured we would start out before the Charmed Ones actually become witches. Give them some time to live "normal" lives first, then throw the demons and warlocks and what have you at them. I would also assume we can have them inherit the manor with the attic locked to stop them from getting at the Book of Shadows until we're ready to get them as witches. Perhaps our Whitelighter could have them discover it?

I already have someone in mind for who the Whitelighter will be, so that position is closed for now until I hear back from him.

As for the other positions, the Charmed Ones will all be female to keep with the history. The other two open positions will most likely be male positions, as there are always more males than females in any thread, hence why I've balanced them out in this one. You guys couldn't handle threesomes with us girls anyway. ^_^

So my Charmed One will be Pruela, Pruela Halliwell. The younger sister. Guess where the name comes from?

I'll leave the naming and personifying of your characters to you.

Gender: Female (Obviously.)
Age: 19
Occupation: None at the moment. Mainly does housework to hold up her end.
Personality: Fun, polite, loyal, and always enjoys her sisters' company. She's the type that always manages to brighten up a conversation and has a noticeable effect on anyone she meets.
History: Always the quiet one in school. She generally kept to herself and didn't go out of her way to make friends or meet boys. That didn't mean people didn't enjoy talking to her, and it definitely didn't mean that boys didn't go after her. She had friends, people talked to her, and boys went after her. She never had a boyfriend, though. None of the guys interested her.
Powers: Water Manipulation (Current), Coercion (Later).

Awesome! I'm glad this thread is getting some attention, and we already have another Charmed One.

Welcome. Heard back from our Whitelighter. He said he wants the position, so that position is now officially closed. Now we just need two more people before I make the IC thread.

for an idea since it is` close to Halloween you could have it where demons or warlocks come out and attack the charmed ones. Since they figured that it is Halloween it would be hard for them to counter attack since everyone is dressed in a costume.

Gender: male
Age: 21
Occupation: Runs A type of occult--magic shop. dose magic shows off and on
Business name: The Magicians Magic and Occult shop. One of the window is a picture female magician with a white mask cover her face.
Personality: he comes across as a relaxed person, many claim he is close to a Apathetic person. He is polite and comes off friendly to almost everyone he comes across.
Appearance-He stands about 5’11, he has long black hair that is tied back, he has icy blue eyes that have a piercing gaze to them but yet it is calming to look into them, He wears a type of Pince-nez eyeglasses ( it is not known if he needs them), he dresses like a dandy, when he is doing shows he dresses in a full magicians outfit cape and all.
History: Not much is known about him, as he don’t talk about his parents, he don’t know who his father is. But he has some memories of his mother but not much as he only seen her a few times. when he was born the doctors around his mother claimed that his mother took one look at him and shouted. Er ist nicht mein Kind, Ist Er der Bote des Teufels, Ist Er der Laich des Umbels ( He’s not my child, He’s the messenger of the devil, He’s the spawn of evil) Thus he was taken in by a family friend who raised him as her own child along with her older daughter ( who were later killed by a demon). The people who know about his family history say he is the descendent of a powerful dark witch. It is also claimed that he has inherited all of his ancestors power. . He runs a type of a magic shop that is also a occult shop that was given to him by a so called relative . the first floor is the main shop, with a kitchen that is use to mix potions, the second floor is his living quarters, while the basement is filled with many magical items to replenish the ones he sold. The Attic is a medium sized roomed filled with many books and grimoires. He also has the grimorie of his ancestry that is filed with many spells for both good and evil. For some reason most the evil spells are unreadable. They will become readable if and when he turns evil and uses his powers for evil. It has been claimed by many demons that one of his ancestors was a demon named Mephistopheles- Mephisto this is not known as of yet.

Knight, creatures of the magical world tend to stay low-profile to prevent humans from finding out about them. But I like the Halloween idea.

Hmm. I'm a little concerned with your history, Knight. The bit about the protection spells seems a little overpowered, and you said he didn't yet know he was a witch? I would assume he wouldn't know what the objects were or how to use them. We'll see about that evil bit. It sounds interesting.

When you said magic shows, I thought you meant slight of hand things. You know, parlour tricks. If he's showing off a true magical ability in public, he would be, ah, silenced. Quickly.

Anyways, one more female for the last Charmed One and I'll put up the IC.

I love the show and would love to be the 3rd sister. Only thing is I prefer playing minority character. It would seem that I would be the Eldest sister and as long as the other two wouldn't mind a little bit of Mom's had an affair kind of story which introduces the 3rd Oldest sister at 28 (by and by the sisters at 19 and 20 might be a little too close in age. 19 and 21 perhaps?)?

Let me know and I'll come up with a character. If it's too much hassle for you both than I'll read the plot from the sidelines.

I also find myself agreeing with your point. It is a little close. But on the bright side, at 21 you can buy alchohol!

lol okay. what is your idea. Mom doesn't have to be a slut. just had sex at a young age and got pregnant. gave the baby up for adoption because she couldn't take care of it. that sort of thing. Whatever I name the character, still thinking of a P name, comes looking for dear old mom to find she has two sisters and mom is .. dead. Mom is dead right?

Occupation: Retired Sgt of the Air Force.
Personality: Stern, strict, controlled and controlling, quiet, sometimes a bit hard
History: Pheona knew she was adopted. Her parents told her at a young age. She figured her mother was some sort of junkie or young woman who couldn't afford to have her. Pheona had loving parents and it was tragic they died when she was 19 in a car crash. Pheona couldn't support herself through college so she went into the Armed Forces. She would have had a career there, but had decided to retire early and see about a new career path that was more 9-5. Out of the blue Pheona received a letter of her mother's death and she was in the will! Her birth mother. Pheona googled her mother's name and paid for the service. She wasn't surprised to learn the woman was white, but that just brought more questions. Did she have siblings? Would she be welcomed? Why was she given up? Pheona went to the funeral never having any thought she had any powers or anything. She was nervous and knew people were probably wondering who she was.

Name: Colt Crimen

Gender: Male

Occupation: None at the time

Personality: Impatient, rash, thinks he knows best, lack of remorse

History: Being the son of a family of self proclaimed "professional" witches was had on Colt's early years. Their focus on his training did push him to his greatest potential as a magic user, it also sort of screwed his ability to normally relate to ordinary people.

He left his parents house as soon as he could, they probably assumed he got killed by one of the demon attacks they always warned him against because he never heard of them again, and many years have passed.

Since then he gets whatever occupation he can find to support himself and tries to forget the times of demons and warlocks.

Powers: Force bolts. His nightmares might be a form of precognition or clairvoyance, since he never explore this venue, they just mean a lack of a good night of sleep.

cool, i'll change the part on his house with the protection spells, I'll may keep him doing magic shows but it would be once in a while. Also would we all be in college or getting ready to go to college.

As for the magical objects i meant, like black candles, charms,some potions that where made from the books that the previous owner collected ( whether or not they work he don't know). also there are old world recipes that can cures the common cold.

I was going to have it where He was given the shop from a previous owner who was a old lady ( who claim she was his aunt). This is not known as she vanished right after she gave it to him.

History: Penny has always been the popular one of the sisters, ever since she was a young girl. Pheona was older than Penny so, they didn't exactly go to highschool together. She just figured that because Pheona was so strict, she didn't know how to have fun. She's always had a hard time paying attention and some even considered her sort of ditzy, though this was not the fact.

@princesssexci, Were you going to make Penny 21, to have the ages a little further apart? And unless I misread, Pheona didn't go to school with Penny or Persephone. (Yes I changed her name.)

@La_Reina, Yes, yes we should. I'll update the first post with mine. Limit of two, please. And we shouldn't have access to both of them right off the bat. Access to the second as we grow stronger, I would assume.
