By Cassandra MacDonald Jul. 18, 2024 1:00 pm

The former CIA analyst wife of Washington Post writer Max Boot has been charged with espionage for allegedly working as an agent for South Korea.

Sue Mi Terry, 54, was charged with failing to register as a foreign agent and conspiring to violate the Foreign Agents Registration Act on Tuesday.

The allegations against her include editorials written on behalf of South Korean intelligence officers for the Washington Post. At least one of the articles in question was co-authored by Boot.

Boot is not currently facing any charges.

I will note that she was not arrested for espionage but as being a paid foreign agent for South Korea. You can read the indictment here:

She didn't register as a foreign agent when writing editorials in favor of our democratic allies on the Korean Penninsula? Geez cesspools ain't what they used to be. I thought maybe she broke windows in the Capitol Building to gain access to stop a Constitutional proceeding or something.
