Ophelia Arcane stood in the elevator of her applied sciences facility awaiting the newest review and tour. She would personally look at each department and its scientists to see what holds merit, what resources the projects would need, the costs of each one and what exactly she could do with the science. Granted part of this was for the company which is why the CFO and others were with her. However, she had her own reasons to be here. Primarily to see what sort of things she could use as her super persona'The Cat'.
With that being said she also secretly wanted to see first hand one of their top scientists. A man she had come to admire not only for his genius but for his strides in a variety of fields. To her, he was the real star of the company. What she was worded about was the fact his ideas had come from trying to master his breakthrough invention which no one really knew about. Still, he had brought her company unrivaled profits. So as the elevator ascended to the research floor and the head of the Applied Sciences spoke she sipped on her coffee knowing full well what she would expect. Her colleagues didn't come here much but she made sure to check in at least once a quarter.
"Now this level is the research offices. The various scientists here are working on their projects tweaking the theories and fine tuning their instruments so they can give you all a progress report. I hope that you all are ready to see what our companies finest paid minds have come up with and hope you like them" Said the woman named Dr. Tiffany Sanders. She wasn't a stellar researcher, but as an administrator and department head, she excelled. Granted she was a cute blonde with long legs and a beautiful brain didn't hurt either.
Ophelia shook away the thought and continued through the automatic doors near the end of the gaggle of executives. It would be a combination of junior high science fair meets Shark Tank. Still, it proved to her exactly who was on the right track, who needed to be transferred to a different project and who in the end needed to be fired.
" All I can ask for Dr.Sanders is Wow us," She said in the back still trying to recover from her fight last night with a cockroach man called 'The Roach' She really did hope to be wowed. If not someone would pay dearly.
