Lori Hudson, 20, 5' 6", Long sandy colored hair, hazel eyes
IC Lori sighed as she looked at the building. She hated doing this, she really did even though it was to keep her father out of trouble...again. He had gotten mixed up with some bad company...again and had gotten himself in debt to some people who wanted their money now...yes, he had done it once again.
In the past she had been able to beg and borrow to cover her dad's debts but now everything they had of value was gone, hocked, traded, sold to cover the gambling and drinking he seemed to be doing more of. Now they were in real trouble and she just didn't know what she was going to do. Her dad was at home, drinking up the last of whatever liquor he could get ahold of, mumbling about how sorry he was and how he was going to stop it all right this minute. It was nothing she hadn't heard a million times before. It was one of the reasons her mom had left her dad. It was the reason that Lori was standing here trying to think of what she could offer this person who held her dad's marker in return for some leniency so she could have time to find a way to pay back the debt.
Well, there was nothing to do but to take that first step. The only thing they could say was no, right? Pushing open the door, she entered looking for the name on a door that was written in her dad's shaky handwriting on the scrap of paper in her hands.
Carter is 40'ish. He owns a bookstore/cigar shop that caters to a pretty rough clientele. He's 6'5, 275 pounds, a man who like to play rough, too. On weekends, he puts on armor and fights in a jousting group. During the week, he keeps an eye on his business, especially the "cigar girls" who serve his customers at the smoke bar. He has been known to give special attention to the girls who make mistakes or who really attract him. Carter is also a gambler and Al Hudson was in hock to him for 10 grand. The deal he'd made with Hudson was simple: Lori Hudson, his pretty daughter would work as his in any way he wanted w/o salary for two months, in exchange for clearing the debt.
IC:
When the soft knock came at his office door, Carter said, "Come on in!" He was in the middle of a bit of discipline on Alexis French, a waitress at the smoke bar. The chocolate brown girl was stripped from the waist down, over his knees, being spanked. Her ass, usually a nice brown, was glowing red and she was crying, begging for Carter to stop, apologizing for being rude to a customer.
Carter saw Lori standing, looking horrified at the sight. He said, "Hey, you must be Lori Hudson...well sit down sweety. I'll be done here in a minute."
He continued to spank the girl's ass, the slaps echoing through the office. Then he released her. Alexis crawled off his lap and knelt at his feet. She was wearing a halter top. He growled, "We'll put the rest of your punishment off til later Alexis. Now get dressed and get your ass back to work."
"Yes Sir," she sobbed. "thank you, Mr. Carter." She pulled up the hot pants she wore in the bar, looked at Lori, glaring, and turned and walked out.
Carter watched her go. He walked to the office door and locked it. "Now then, Lori, what can I do for you?"
Walking into the office, Lori was horrified at what she saw. How could this man treat his employees in such a way? And why would that girl let him? It was demeaning and degrading. Well, she wouldn't stay here any longer than she had to. She wanted to turn and walk out now but she had promised her father that she would talk to Mr Carter about his debt. She still didn't know what she could do, her father was quite drunk and hard to understand by the time that she had gotten home that evening, but she knew she had to try.
Stepping back from him and further into the room as he moved past her to lock the door, she drew up all the confidence she could. "Yes, Mr Carter. I believe my father owes you some money? I do not know the details of it, he was not....feeling well...at the time that he discussed them with me. But he said that I should come and talk to you to see if we could work out a solution for payment."
"I must tell you now that we do not have anything of value that we could give to you until we can repay the debt but I assure you that we will work very hard to pay it back. My father has an illness, Mr Carter, one I have not been able to cure him of but we are honest people. We will get you your money some way, that I promise. If you only give us time."
"I understand, Lori. I've known your dad for many years and he is essenttially a good man, but weak. I realize that he is a compulsive gambler & an alcoholic, and I wish you well in getting him help. I might even be able to help you along those lines. However, he owes me over $10,000, and I know you cannot hope to repay me within the time limits I have. I need that money within two months, you see.
"I cannot imagine a way that you could pay me that money. However, if you read this contract your fasther signed, you'll see that he & I worked out a solution in one of his lucid moments."
The contract essentially read that Lori Hudson, as Al Hudson's representative, would work for me in any job I assigned her for two months, without pay, fourteen hours per day, with one hour off for lunch and dinner. If she did so, completing her term of service successfully, the debt would be withdrawn and voided. Otherwise, it came due on the last day of the second month.
I watched her as she read this. Her eyes widened as she realized what her adad had done. Her breath quickened and she reddened. When she finished I looked at her.
Lori's eyes widened in horror as she read the contract. Oh, sure she could claim it was invalid. She was eighteen and a legal adult. The contract would have to be signed by her to have any legal binding. She could also get by on the legality of fourteen hour days. The contract would never hold up in any court of law.
But if the law got ahold of her father for even signing it! Lori drew in a breath and shook her head. Jail was not a place that her father needed at such a time. She was sure the Mr Carter could afford the pricy lawyers to get off on a legal technicality but they could not.
No, legal or not, she was stuck with it unless she wanted to see her dad go to jail or, worse, have Mr Carter do something aweful to him. She was sure that he would't hesitate to do something nasty to both of them if she tried to get out of it.
She shuddered at the thought of working here. And the scene she had walked in on was still fresh in her mind. If she could just get through the next two months working in this sleazy joint without getting into trouble, she would be fine.
Dropping the paper back onto the desk with nerveless fingers, she lifted her chin and set her mouth into a grim line.
"Very well, Mr Carter," She said her voice full of distain,"It seems I have no choice but to fullfill this illegal arrangement of yours. When do I start working in this..." She waived her hand around at the dingy shop"....establishment?"
He saw the disbelief in her eyes, the contempt in her bearing, heard the veiled anger in her voice. He knew that he could never make the contract stand up, but also knew either she'd agree or she and her father would be out on the street within a week. He softened his voice and his face.
"Now, Lori, don't be too dismissive. I run a very successful and popular business. The bookstore is clean, well-lit, and has only the best titles. I know you're thinking I'm some sort of sleazeball, but you'll find I'm not. I want you to work only in the bookstore, as an assistant manager. The smoke shop and cigar bar are off limits to anyone under 21, since liquor is served there. So you cannot work there.
"No, you'll work in the bookstore for two months, learning the ropes. And then, if you choose to stay, I'll pay you very well to manage the place for me."
He rose and offered her his hand in friendship.
"and, if your dad agrees, I'll get him a space in a local hospital to start his recovery. All your needs and his will be looked after.
"Please, trust me. And ask me anything you need to know...about anything. Anything at all about how I manage my businesses.
Lori's look was leary as she stared at Mr Carter's outstretched hand. It was some moments before she put her hand out to clasp his. The deal sounded alright, straight up. Why he was doing this she didn't know, he could have gotten a manager for the store by putting an ad in the paper but she guessed this was one way to get two months free labor before having to pay her anything.
Still, it was the only way they had of paying off the debt. And in the end, if she liked the job, she would get paid well to continue to do it.
"Okay," She said a bit grudgingly as they closed the deal with a handshake,"And yes, I think that I should know the place before I go to work here. Thank you."
Cater took her by the hand and held it fairly tightly. "Good girl. I knew you'd agree. Let me show you around the place then."
He lead her to the bookstore. It looked very cozy. Used books on tall bookcases. Mostly literature and detective fiction, some science fiction, very little nonfiction. The whole system ran by a computer. "Your job will be to track sales on the computer system and be a general salesclerk. That's what all my assistant managers do." There was one other clerk...a small redheaded girl who smiled and shook her hand. "This is Moira Thomas; Moira, this is Lori Hudson. She'll be here for a while."
They moved along to the cigar store and bar that was next door. This was a small room where fine cigars could be bought. It was manned by a nice young man named Eric. The bar was very different...dark, smokey, with a large bar and numerous tables. Moving through the crowd of cigar-smoking men, and the occasional cigar-smoking women, were the "smoke girls" --- all of them very pretty, well-endowed, dressed in hotpants and halters that barely covered their charms. They served drinks and smokes, and Lori noticed that customers fondled them openly. As she looked around, she saw the girl from the office who smiled at Mr. Carter but glared at her again. Carter stopped the girl..."Lori this is Alexis. She's, ummmm, sort of my personal project...or was until you arrived." He whispered something to Alexis who blushed and turned, then scurried away through a door labeled "private".
Lori recalled seeing a similar door in the bookstore. She wondered.....
"It all seems legitimate, Mr. Carter," Lori said.
"Good," said Carter. "The rules are simple: Be on time, do your job, never insult a customer, and follow my directions immediately and completely. If you follow the rules, we'll be fine. If not, I'll deal with you." And he looked her straight in the eyes almost dangerously.
Lori followed Mr Carter along on the short tour. She was sure that she would have no problem in the bookstore and Moria seemed nice enough. However, when she went into the bar and smoke room, she felt uncomfortable there. She did not know how the girls there let themselves be treated that way. It was degrading! Well, it was their choice after all and she shouldn't let it bother her.
What did bother her was the looks that the girl named Alexis kept giving her. She didn't know why the girl would hate her on sight. She wasn't even going to be working in the same place as her. Lori was grateful, at least, for that.
It all seemed legitimate and above-board and Lori said as much. However, when Mr Carter said something about 'dealing with her' she stood up straight and held his gaze.
"Mr Carter, I assure you that I have been competent in every job I have ever held. I do not belive in being rude to customers and, I assure you, you will never have to 'deal with me' as you put it."
Still, she couldn't help wondering what he had met by his earlier comment about her being his 'special project' maybe he simply knew that she was not trained enough at eighteen to hold such a high position, though the job seemed easy enough, and was going to make sure she had some extra training so that his store ran well.
Carter chuckled to himself when he heard her reply,
"Mr Carter, I assure you that I have been competent in every job I have ever held. I do not belive in being rude to customers and, I assure you, you will never have to 'deal with me' as you put it."
Time will tell, bitch, time will tell, he thought.
"You should hope not, Miss Hudson! Your tone is bordering on insolence and I don't tolerate that very well at all. Take that tone with anyone here and you'll be in trouble." He snapped at her, secretly enjoying the surprised look on her face.
They returned to the bookstore, where he showed her the routine. He then said, before leaving, "Moira is due for an appraisal this afternoon. You'll be on your own. Dust the shelves, alphabetize the lit section, and work on cataloging the detective fiction section into that computer, please, Lori."
It didn't take long for the complexity of the computerized system to become apparent. It was so complicated that no one had really used it before. And iot was essentially a piece of shit.
Mopira and her boss disappeared begind the "private" door. It didn't take long before some very interesting noises began to eminate from there. What were they, moans, groans, slapping noises?
Lori looked up startled at his statement. Now she realized why he couldn't get a manager by other means. Who wanted to stand around being threatened and talked down to no matter how much you are paid?
Following him back into the bookstore, she thought "Oh well, I will just do my job for two months and then get the hell out of here. If I don't make waves everything will be fine."
She simply nodded at his instructions as they went into the office. She tried to computer and found it to be impossible. Besides, how did he think she could operate it without being trained on it? He didn't seem like a good manager himself if he couldn't at least give her some training. She guessed she would simply bring it up to him when he was done.
As she went about dusting and alphabetizing, she tried to ignore the sounds coming from the office. She wasn't going to get involved in any of if. She was going to do the job and that was that.
Moira had read her review and seen that there were three black marks...
She knew what was coming. She dropped to her knees and unzipped my pants. Then she gave me exquisite head for fifteenminutes...five minutes per mark. When I did not um, she frowned, but she stopped when the bell rang.
"Just wait, sweet Moira, until our friend outside gets well and truly fucked up. Then I'll do her and you can help "
She smiled and kissed me, then she bent over and presented her blue jean covered ass. Fifteen spanks later, she was sobbing, but smiling. "thank you Mr. Carter," she said, and dried her tears then left the room.
---0----0----0----
I came out after her. She was standing with Lori, whispering to her, about the computer. It had, as usual, seized up and was being a bitch on wheels.
Lori looked a bit flustered and angry. I wondered why.
Lori had had a hard time ignoring the sounds from the room but fighting with the computer had certaintly helped. By the time Moria had come out, Lori's face was flushed with frustration and anger.
Looking up as Mr Carter came out of the room, she gave him a dark look.
"Yes! Something is very wrong. You tell me to do some work on the computer but you neglect to tell me how and give me any type of training. How am I supposed to do a good job without training?"
"You told me you could handle it...Now you cannot? This is not good at all. Moira take over from her...we need to have a little talk, Lori and I."
Moira smiled wickedly and moved into place at the computer. She showed Lori how to access the database more quickly, but I was already moving to show Lori to the "private room".
"Please accompany Me, Lori, or leave and do not return!" I glowered and unlocked the door.....
Lori's mouth dropped open. He was blaming her for not knowing how to run the computer when it was he who had neglected to train her properly?
Her back stiff, her eyes blazing, she followed him. "I can handle any job if I am trained right!" She said in a surly tone. "It is not my fault that you neglected that training."
When she entered the room, He slapped her face hard. You will never again be insolent to Me or I'll send you packing, girl! And you can call the poloice or whoever you like! I promise you, I'll be free and you'll be on the streets the next day..."
He looked at her...arrogant bitch...who the Hell did she think she was...
He took her by the wrists and pulled her to his desk...
There he pushed her until she bent at the waist, ignoring her struggles and her screams & protests. He lifted her poroper skirt and then spanked her panty covered ass hard until the cheeks were cherry red.
He looked up ans saw Moira standing there grinning. He said, "close the door and lock with you on the outise, girl!"
"Now, Lori, are you better ready to listen to me?"
Lori's head snapped to the side from the slap and her face showed her surprise, her eyes burning.
As he grabbed her wrists, she struggled to no avail, squirming on top of the desk as she cried out for him to stop. She blushed furiously as he lifted her skirt, she couldn't believe this was happening!
Tears were running down her cheeks when he let her up and she jerked her skirt down, still glaring at him through the tears.
Through gritted teeth she said,"I will do what you say. But only because I don't want my father to suffer the consequences." Turning on her heel, she marched, stiff backed to the door and tried to open it, almost screaming in frustration when she found it was locked. Pulling on the handle and banging on the door, she called for someone to let her out!
"That won't work. The lock is keyed both ways, Lori. Now I suggest you turn around and sit down in front of me, young lady. AND DO IT NOW or I will fire you. The contract says follow every order. I truly don't care how I get what I want from you, but it would be easier if you would be cooperative. Of course, if you're not prepared to be cooperative, there are other ways, but I'm sure you'll see that a little cooperation is in order.
So far you've acted like a fucking bitch, a real "regal beagle", and I don't have them working for me.
Breathing hard, Lori stopped her futile attempt to open the door. Her back was to him, stiff and unyielding, her hand on the doorknob tight and the knuckles white with the force of her grip.
Turning to face him, the look in her eyes one of defiance but not daring to voice that defiance, she strode stiffly over to the chair he indicated and sat down, her back straight, her hands clasped tightly together in her lap and her eyes staring straight at the wall, not even looking at him. She said nothing but simply sat there waiting for whatever he had to say.
Get it over with and get back to work She told herself as she sat there, hands intwined, her breath harsh and her heart beating in her chest. You can get through this, Lori. Remember you father. You can get through anything for him.
