The bones of John the Baptist

Interesting story. I have a hard time believing reliquary stories. The Catholic Church had a habit of enshrining animal parts and other unknown human parts to show how they had the body of a divine saint who would of course bless their cause, their church, etc. It's like the stories of the True Cross that keep popping up as if parts of the cross Jesus died on are still around today. Or even the True Nails that pierced Jesus.
 
So if radiocarbon dating methods are accurate, that must mean the Earth is several billion years old.

Uh-oh.
