Unable to accept the avalanche of money sent its way, BLM channeled donations through Thousand Currents and the Tides Foundation until the IRS approved its application for nonprofit status in December 2020. Around that time, Thousand Currents transferred $66.5 million to BLM — a transaction personally signed off on by BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors.

Cullors later issued the organization’s first-ever “impact report” in February 2021, claiming that the organization had raised over $90 million in 2020, spent $8.4 million on operating expenses, and given out $21.7 million to local BLM chapters and affiliated organizations. But these were just top-line numbers in a flashy communications product. No details were given on who was specifically paid what.

Just three months later, Cullors left BLM, claiming that she wanted to focus on other projects. She adamantly denied charges that she left the organization due to media reports that she had recently purchased millions of dollars' worth of real estate for herself.

The people who donated to BLM deserve to know where their money went. So do the people who live in communities that have been devastated by violence. Congress should investigate, and perhaps it will starting next January.

Black Lives Matter (BLM) moved millions of dollars to a charity in Canada run by the wife of co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors to purchase a mansion that used to be the headquarters of the Communist Party of Canada, according to public records reviewed by the New York Post.

M4BJ, which is a non-profit based in Toronto that was set up in part by Janaya Khan, bought the 10,000-square foot mansion for $6.3 million in July 2021. Khan is the wife of Khan-Cullors, a self-professed Marxist who helped found Black Lives Matter Global Foundation Network.

Last year, Khan-Cullors resigned from the organization after an investigation revealed that she spent $3.2 million on homes in Georgia and Los Angeles. She reportedly denied that the homes were purchased with donations to BLM.

The purchase of the Toronto mansion, which is also called Wildseed Centre for Art and Activism, drew criticism from within the organization.

"For BLM Canada to take money from BLM Global Network [Foundation] for a building without consulting the community was unethical," Canadian BLM activists Sarah Jama and Sahra Soudi recently said. "For BLM Canada to refuse to answer questions from young Black organizers goes against the spirit of movement-building."

The liberal states of California and Washington have ordered the Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation to halt all fundraising operations over a lack of financial transparency, according to a new report.

California Attorney General Rob Bonta (D) sent a formal delinquency notice to BLM on Monday, according to the New York Post. The order gives the group 60 days to file tax and charity documents for 2020; otherwise, BLM could lose its tax-exempt status and be subject to late fees.

On Jan. 5, the Washington secretary of state corporations and charities division reportedly sent a notice to BLM to "immediately cease" fundraising in the state because of the group's lack of financial transparency.

When asked about the Black Lives Matter organization, Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita (R) told the Examiner, "It appears that the house of cards may be falling, and this happens eventually with nearly every scam, scheme, or illegal enterprise. I see patterns that scams kind of universally take: failure to provide board members, failure to provide even executive directors, failure to make your filings available. It all leads to suspicion."

The directors (and former directors) can also be held personally liable for those fees and any other sanctions levied against the org if the filing isn't done within the time frame given. Since there aren't any current directors, those sanctions would fall on the former directors in this case.

The actual cause is fraudulent. It implies that blacks are in danger from whites. They are in far greater danger from other blacks. Also, if black lives matter, why do so few black men marry the mothers of their children and raise them properly? Why do so many black men kill other blacks?

Right now, in Chicago, there's a black man camped out on top of a building in the worst part of the city, overrun with criminals, drug dealers, junkies, whores, the worst of humanity. He's camped out for something like 60 nights in 0-degree weather because he's raising money to build a community center in that neighborhood so kids and families have a place to go for entertainment and recreation.

Know who's been promoting him and his cause? FOX News.

Why isn't BLM doing that? Why isn't BLM funding him? Why is BLM not putting its money where their pie-holes are?
