I thoroughly despise the taste of all diet sodas, but this 1980s TV jingle for Diet Pepsi is literally an example of advertising genius.

In one 30-second spot it shows the product and product name eight times, sings the product name four times, and shows the product benefit (slim waist) six times; all in a manner that not only avoids what would normally be a repetitive sensory assault, but actually invites an emotional participation that is so pleasantly upbeat that it is virtually impossible to refuse.
