Poor kids? Annoying? Lol what's wrong with you people? I love seeing adults who are willing to have fun. She had great material for adults when she was a comedian, and she's just branched from there. Her "poor kids" have a fun mother who is not afraid to be silly. We all have "infatuations" that others may find strange or ridiculous, hers are just out there for all of us to see. And I don't think that "lesbian" means "can't enjoy men in some way."
Personally, I find her a funny, beautiful, intelligent, generous woman who has far more guts than many of us. Her attack of Tom Selleck was overboard, and she realized that and apologized for it -- which also takes a lot of courage. She has adopted children and is a BIG advocate for adoption, which, as an adoptee, I find highly respectable. True, she can be annoying, but so can we all.
Don't like her? Don't watch it. But she's got some great qualities and I admire her.

Rosie is annoying but I respect her for the adoption of her children and for coming out in public. Very brave. She is annoying though, personality wise.
But some other people I find annoying are:
Tom Leykis (not because he is a misogynist, but because he is obnoxious)
Jim Carry (sp?)- when he is acting stupid.
Mariah Carey- Always annoying.
Gilbert Gottfried- Obviously.
Chris Rock- He is funny at times but his voice is like a rusty nail and it seems like all he can talk about is being black.
Oprah Winfrey- I respect her success, but she acts so goddamned high and mighty that she is annoying. And her TV topics are boring.
The entire cast of Friends.- I hate that show. A bunch of pretty 20-somethings living in apartments they could never afford in real life, with no real problems, complaining about life.
The entire cast of Sex In The City, AND anyone involved in the production of it- Stupid, stupid, stupid show.
Hootie and The Blowfish- or as I call them "Hoochie and the Blowjob." Could these guys be any more boring? They call themselves a "golf band."
