Society requires restraint — control... but there are times when I have nearly loosened my own "bonds". And many times when I was tempted to.

I thought this one might be a bit over the top for the poetry threads, but I think it fits here...


Beautiful beast
Toiling away in the depths of your cave
Grinding and scraping
At walls too small
To contain
The cold fires
That rage within
As days bleed into the darkness
You rap repeatedly at
With poetic prayers
For a piece of peace
That only comes with the pain
Of strained muscles and mind

I patiently await the day
You let slip your grip
Release your inner wilds
To a wolf in sheep's attire
Who will match you growl for growl
Make you whimper
And cry aloud
As you are claimed
From heels to hairline
By tongues of flame
That smother your own

I want the light and heat to blind
Until all we're aware of
Is the Braille of bodies
Reading one another
Inch by inch
Every scar becoming
A story re-imagined
Read aloud in hisses and moans
Whispered over the pips raised
By warm breath and soft scratches or
Work roughened hands and
Teasing teeth on tender places
Fueling the need to feed
On panted pleas
Losing ourselves to the language
Of demands
Give me
Take me
Make me
Grasp and gasp
As bodies slam together
Growling
Fuck me, fuck me
Fuck me harder
Until words are lost
In the clutch and clench
Of release

A dominance game
Where all is lost and
All is found
As we begin again
Licking the wounds left
In mindless moments and
Tasting the purple of flesh
Bruised in passions path
As beasts battle anew
To a climatic ending

Women seem to have a sort of "beast" as well, though, in general, have a better leash on it. I've seen women who have been horny or passionate, but I always sensed some measure of control. — the ability to cage her if needed.

Whereas I have been at the point when all shackles are broken.

Unleashing your beast, to my mind, rather than being a loss of control is such a narrow focus on what you want at that moment, that you are willing to disregard your partner's wants or needs in favor of your own. Due to the strength dynamic between men and women, for a woman to unleash her beast, the man has to relinquish control to her, be willing to be used as she chooses without regard for his own wants. That's not to say that the person taking control has no thought for the other person's pleasure, that may or may not be the case, however, I've met very few men who were truly open to releasing control of a sexual situation, knowing that their partner may get what they want and leave them unfulfilled. Whereas that is much more accepted by women.

Unleashing your beast, to my mind, rather than being a loss of control is such a narrow focus on what you want at that moment, that you are willing to disregard your partner's wants or needs in favor of your own. Due to the strength dynamic between men and women, for a woman to unleash her beast, the man has to relinquish control to her, be willing to be used as she chooses without regard for his own wants. That's not to say that the person taking control has no thought for the other person's pleasure, that may or may not be the case, however, I've met very few men who were truly open to releasing control of a sexual situation, knowing that their partner may get what they want and leave them unfulfilled. And there's the reason for that holding back you sense. A woman could, with planning take control, but releasing the beast in the moment CAN'T happen unless the person she's with is amenable. It's not self-control, it's self-preservation.

The "self-control" that I was mentioning above, was the man's...if he is handing over the reigns (so to speak) to a woman, he is restraining himself, suppressing his own natural instincts.

Unless, of course, his own natural intincts are to be submissive...then we have a whole 'nother dynamic.

Ah, well, I don't think it's possible for both to unleash at the same time, not successfully anyway, lol. Though it might be a fun battle royale if they were fairly evenly matched physically.
