So, since they are sealing the parking lots this week and my baja was parked in the far back lot not running I got to go and get a brand new (huge) heavy duty battery. I got to install it and one of the old ones as it's a dual battery system and use all of my old school experience to get that beast started. Which it did. I was a bit worried about the engine seizing as it has been raining like mad lately. Must have blown a whole cup of black water out of the exhaust when it cranked over. Nasty stuff. I have neighbors though so no revving and getting fire to shoot out of the exhaust this time. I just puttered it to another parking lot and locked it up. It sure did feel good though to have that high performance engine going. Makes a harley sound like a kitten.

Sometimes it's the little things that make your day.

It's getting pretty hot out, I better go move my truck now or I'll forget.

My cat is getting very large.

woke up in the middle of the night... parched like crazy... thought maybe some water... but naw, water couldn't possibly quench my thirst. Then it hit me - some gatorade in the fridge... one bottle... caught a glimpse of it earlier. So I travel over to the fridge, and like that moment in Raider's of the lost Ark where Indie catches sight of the golden figure - there sits the bottle of gatorade. I look around for a brief moment, snatch it up, then down it. Bliss...

the little things.

I think once a cat reaches a certain size, your household is under some much needed intervention.

With the exception of brief periods, such as going to look at my mum's new car and eating once, i have been asleep all day and all night - it's 5 now. For someone with a sleep disorder this is unusual and sweeeeeeeeet. It truly is the little things.

I was watching that channel where they save animals, or go out to save people (or other animals) from mean or rabid animals. They got a call on cat - it was chasing and terrorizing the dogs in the neighborhood.

So they go out and talk to this lady who's dog got bit by this cat. She says it's not a cat, it's too big to be a cat, and it's teeth are too big to be a cats. So they go talk to the cats owner, and look at the cat. Turns out she doesn't have a cat (like she thinks she does) she has one of those really small leopards. The ones that are just a bit bigger than cats? (I forget what they're called.)

So next time you have a big cat, just wonder . . .
