Congrats to the winners! Early on I did read those stories and I have to admit 2 of them were awesome imho, the third was good, just not my cup of tea.

After the sweeps "Morrigan's Curse" was at:
4.82 with 203 votes (prior to sweeps 4.77 with 213)
8,453 views, 13 comments, and 12 favorites

The contest was fun, my first entry and after reading current and previous winners I have a better idea of what to enter in the future.

Been living primitively a few days. *laughs* Snow-laden tree took out power on Saturday evening. Tucked away in a hotel now for the remainder of the power/phone/water outage. 100K have been restored to power, 300K without, my house low in priority list probably be another couple of days. Thankful for family, gas fireplace, a small generator that saved the food from spoiling and a few lights on. And someone to watch the house while we're away. Oh what an adventure....now, to the pool and to reclaim a bit of sanity lost. I hope those pinned by Mother Nature's icy glare are safe too.
