Given that there is this small but definite niche for male masturbation stories, I wonder if one couldn't be fashioned around the rare ability of some to suck their own penis. Narcissus ? Reminds me on this one german comedian, Michael Mittermeier. In one of his shows he said: EVERY guy tries to suck his down dick, in the early puberty. I think that's very much in line with what I expressed in 'An Oral Agreement'. Still, I'm pretty much coming along with the idea of the two-male scenario, since the centre piece of the story is the male character's first experience with licking and finally sucking his own penis, and there really isn't any accidental way for that kind of thing to take place. Being shown or tutored in some way makes more sense, and opens up some intersesting plot possibilites as well. While the main character may be straight, the other character is not, and is very interested in this young man. Teaching him autofellatio may be a lead-in to seduction. Still, I'd like this story to fit more into the Toys And Masturbation catagory than Gay Male, but maybe that's a point I'm being too pedantic on. I'll give it more thought once the holidays are firmly over, and I finish my nearly done Von Kemeplen Automata story.

Much like the tip of one's own penis hanging a mere inch away from one's lips, there is something in the formulation of this story that is tantalizingly out of reach for me. Usually, the difference between my simply speculating on the creation of a story, and actually sitting down and writing it, is when that undefinable something 'clicks', and no more thought is required because the story becomes complete and whole in my mind at that instant. Whatever it is, it's not there yet. I think I need to go back to basics, and really examine my potential main character and what makes him tick. What is his motivation for trying such a demanding and unusual form of mastrubation? Why is his own hand not enough? Is he then a virgin, and if so, why? My typical fall back is to make him young and attractive, but just socially awkward. That's usually fine, but in this case, I have to give him a greater context -either the female character who somehow becomes the witness to his behavior, or the male character who teaches him. I'm tempted to opt for the easy solution of a Yoga student-teacher relationship, but the strength and flexibility of a ballet dancer or gymnast would make an interesting alternative. If you accept the premise that most male dancers are gay, then the pieces start to come together a bit more. The main character is straight, but the rigors of his training make normal relationships impossible. A fellow dancer and friend, who harbours some lust for our main character, listens to the main characters plight and offers a solution, one which he himself has resorted to and practices -autofellatio. The main character would be uneasy and probably not take it seriously, but the longer he goes without the intimate contact of a woman, the more he is willing to take up this invitation.

OK, well, I think it's starting to come together a bit more in my mind now. I like the idea of a female dancer being the particular object of our main character's obesssion, but that aspect still seems a bit vague. Maybe it's not a completely necessary story element, but I think such an obsession would stress the natural inclinations of the main character, and how radical a departure it would be for him to engage in a same-sex relationship. If he was gay or bi to begin with, the tension would be far less.

I think this more or less nails it right on. It definitely brings it back to its original conception as a Toys And Masturbation catagory story, and does away with much unnecessary compilcation. A lot of the other plot threads we were exploring would work prefectly well without the element of autofellatio, and simply as a straight-to-gay seduction tale. With the single character acting alone out of sexual frustration, but with a vivid fantasy life, it definitely becomes crystal clear. In a way, I've used the idea of post-teen sexual frustration as a motivation for masturbatory perversions in 'Solitary Habits', so the general format is something I am familiar with and can definitely exploit again.
