"The kickoff for the first Arab Football League season is just weeks away. All of the teams are in their training camps, preparing for a long, bitter struggle. Let’s check in with sideline reporter Wolf Blitzer, who comes to us tonight from the League Headquarters in Karachi, Pakistan."
Wolf Blitzer

"Thank you Gunner. League officials have been embroiled in heated meetings throughout the week, and many believe there is a behind the scenes power struggle going on. League Commissioner, Abdul Aliwanabe is trying to find a replacement team for the recently folded, Taliban Protectors."

"Thank you Wolf, we’ll check back with you later in the week."
"The early favorites in each division are the Kabul Destruction, Chechnya Flames, and the Baghdad Targets. The Destruction is led by head coach Hamid Karzai, who will rely strongly upon controversial quarterback, Rashid Dostum. It’s also rumored that former coach, Mullah Omar, is plotting behind the scenes to take Karzai’s job. The Chechnya Flames will be led by a strong defense, and an assortment of trick plays. They recently built New Grozny Stadium after the old one was destroyed by a Russian tank. The Baghdad Targets are expected to contend led by head coach, Sadaam Hussein and his new trick play, ‘dodging UN weapon inspectors’. Let’s check in now with color analyst, Kofi Anan"

"Thank you Gunner. I am here at the Kashmir Café, and we have been under heavy rocket attacks all morning. Despite this, the café is packed with eager fans ready for the season start. I had a chance to talk to some of them earlier.
Your name is Muhammed, and what do you think is the best thing about the new Arab football League?"
Mohammed
==========
"I like the revenue sharing package that is in place. It keeps the balance of the league equal. We all know that the Baghdad Targets are a large revenue drawing team, so when they share some of that revenue with say, the West Bank Bombers, that is good for the game."
Kofi Anan
=========
"Thank you Mohammed. Back to you Gunner."

"Thanks Kofi, nice work and keep your flack jacket on. Now we want to hear from the rest of the fans. Anyone have any ideas on the expansion team that will fill the void left by the Taliban Protectors…? Anyone have a report from a training camp…?"
