COMMUNICATE with your SO!!!

Just talk to him/her in a non-threatening situation...

I mean if you can't talk to your SO about anything/everything, then do you really have a relationship worthy of trying to "save" or "spice up" to begin with? And, if you believe that you DO have a healthy relationship, why are you talking to a bunch of "strangers" online instead of talking to your SO about what's going on in your relationship?

Stop asking US how to get your SO to try something new in the bedroom... Stop asking US why he/she can't "commit"... Stop asking US what WE think the "problem" is... Etc., etc., etc.... Ask HIM/HER...

Is it REALLY all that difficult to have a mature discussion with one's SO these days?

Sorry... End of rant...

Poster Note: This rant brought to you by posters against posters who seem to have a problem with glancing through the threads to see whether or not someone else has posted a thread asking a similar question.

P.S. - Communicate, communicate, communicate!!! ;)

This could go for a lot of other topics too.

If people glanced over the thread titles BEFORE posting a new thread, there wouldn't be several threads about cock rings, several threads about anal sex, several threads about penis size ( ), several threads about how to get an avatar, etc.

Just an observation... *shrugs*

That's right. Everyone should stop posting to Literotica because a) everything has been asked before and b) no one should need the advice and opinions of others.

Even this thread has been posted before ... shame on you.

Now where is that button to shut down this site...

I'm not suggesting that at all.

All I'm saying is that, because a lot of things have been covered here over and over again, just take a look around FIRST. If you find a thread that sounds like it would be similar to what you need to know, read through it. If those threads don't have the information that you're looking for, THEN (by all means) post your question.

Do we really NEED several threads about anal sex, cock rings, penis size, or how to get an avatar on the very first page?

It's just laziness.

And I know that many people here are tired of answering the same questions over and over again... Especially ME...

Yes, we do need people to step up and ask questions. Sex is an interactive sport and all of us are eager to explore it, even the newbies. Posting is fun and should be encouraged, no matter what the topic. A lot of people post because they want to participate, not because they really need a specific bit of information. I know that's what I did three or four nicknames ago when I was a newbie.

If you're tired of answering a question then don't answer it. Let a newbie who's enthusiastic about the subject answer it with their own experiences and subtleties. It encourages dialogue about everyone's favorite subject.

Without interactive discussion this board would just be a dusty old encyclopedia of information that no one would read.

It is funny to me when people say they can't talk to their SO about sex but they can have sex. It is sad that people are so afraid of rejection.

Yeah, people have no problem getting naked with each other, but they can't talk about what they do when they're naked. Then, they come on here asking Litsters for advice when they should be communicating with their partners.

While I understand that it's nice to be able to use the HT Board/Cafe for advice/input, any issues that a couple has must be dealt with by that couple. This place isn't a substitute for that.

Soooooooooo that means that if someone asks one of those questions you somehow feel compelled to answer? Maybe the problem isn't the question. :D
