the lair or shelter of a wild animal, especially a predatory mammal.

a room, often secluded, in a house or apartment, designed to provide a quiet, comfortable, and informal atmosphere for conversation, reading, writing, etc.

This den will serve both meanings. All are welcome, with the caveat you read the first definition of "den" as carefully as the second. I will post random musings, observations, bits of interesting information, and topics to be bandied about by those willing to offer constructive opinions and withstand a bit of polite disagreement.

Trolls will be eaten, after a thorough rogering with a handy fire log.

A couple of interesting quotes from Robert A Heinlein I find apropos at the moment:

Which are you? Will it affect how you vote?? Will it affect WHETHER you vote?

One of my favorites of all time, and it pops to mind about 2304985723 times a day thanks to the current crop of milquetoast office drones I find myself surrounded by.
