The amicas mistake

Still researching it.
Read an interesting article on Lesbians raising children. The kids are well adjusted and sperm is aplenty.

I've added my .02 cents, that's it for me. :D I didn't think there was any of that kind left. Just goes to show that the evils of womankind isn't as far reaching as I originally thought. Back to the drawing board...:p

That thread is as exhilirating as the "Did I catch someone?" thread.
Not as nasty, but still beating your head against a wall kinda stuff.

That is one thread that makes my blood really, really boil.
I know it's useless, but boy, do I get mad when I read crap like that.
Jesus, that's the kind of guy that I had to fight my entire life with. Same generation more or less.

AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!

Or pack him off with the Christian Exodus. He'd probably fit in well.

PS - Love the 'royal scepter' in the new AV

Like I said: those poor penguins.

And, thank you, yes it is rather fit for a Queen, though I doubt... nah, I don't think I'll finish that sentence. ;)

You mean it's not on display at The Tower with the rest of the Crown Jewels????

No, the Beefeaters keep it hidden away in their "special" place. :cathappy:

Just a quick point, and hopefully I'm remembering correctly, but Beefeater comes from the Brits trying to pronounce the French word Beaufetier (or some similar word) when the Plantagenets assumed the throne of England. (I believe).

I'm sure Og could verify or correct this Yank's memory.

Yep, I think you're right! They are the guards of the Tower of London, just in case anyone else was wondering, and they are as hard as nails, one bad word against them and they'll rip your head off quicker than you can say, "Beefeater." :D

Also, a highly honored post that is reserved for the best from the British armed forces after long and distinguished careers in HRH's service.

Indeed! So, they might have a "dodgy" name and dress rather "unconventionally", but they are some of the finest in the land.

On a slightly different topic, the rooks also guard the Tower of London, and it is fabled that if they were to leave, the Monarchy would fall.

It's never happened yet, and it also explains why the Beefeaters take such good care of them.
