In a world filled of magic and sword play.Of heroes and villians,there is a nation known as Acalon.With a noble king at the helm,old yet wise,the kingdom was once a nation of humans yet,since it was in the middle of the nation and it was not near where the massive war was being fought,the kingdom took in all sorts of refugees.Now a melting pot filled with Elves,Dwarves,Humans and all of the other goodly races of the world.
Now a hundred years after the war of shadow,the evil forces sent back into the hellish land in the east,the Goodly races went back into peace and now the thought of evil dark creatures comming from the east ever again faded into the back of everyones thoughts.No one ever lives in fear now and good is allowed to prosper.
Even though the immediate threat of the enemy ever comming back was on the back of everyones mind,the king of Acalon still keeps the Academy of Acalon running.The Academy of Acalon is the pinnicle of Acalon's training.A former military fort turned into a school has become a training ground for many would be heroes.Training Swordsmanship,Magic,Esponige and everything else you could think of,it has been the breed grounds of many of Acalon's great defenders.
A very prestigious school,the Academy of Acalon is a place where only the best and the brightest go to become stronger.Each player will be a member on one of their final years of training in the Academy.Each character,no matter what race they are will be in human years around 18,so its pretty much Senior year for the trainees.The Thread is based loosely around a main story that comes into play after a while in the school.
Rumors of an army growing in the east though seem to have everyone paranoid and the trainers seem to be pushing the students harder and harder and when ever someone asks about the army of darkness or the first war,the room goes quiet.Its almost taboo to talk about the leader of the Dark Army: Veldian.Supposedly dead,people gossip about how he could truely be alive and lying in the shadows,amassing an army and looking to kill the goodly people of the world.
