Mamdani’s repeatedly said he’s not a communist. Also, countries like Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Norway that have done quite well by the majority of their people but I guess are harder to mock and closer to what he’s aiming for. And on your communist list you forgot China. You know, the guys who make more cars, ships, steel, and iPhones than we do – I’m not a huge fan of the country but again, harder to pointlessly mock financially.
As far as Hamas he has called what they did on October 7th a war crime and said on the 2nd anniversary, “Two years ago today, Hamas carried out a horrific war crime, killing more than 1,100 Israelis and kidnapping 250 more. I mourn these lives and pray for the safe return of every hostage still held and for every family whose lives were torn apart by these atrocities.” And he has also said Hamas and the IDF must abide by international law. He will not agree with you, but to pretend he supports Hamas violence is not accurate.
As far as being pro America, in much of the country the idea that a majority should elect our representatives and after being elected they must respect the rights of the minority is the very essence of being American. But I understand this may feel like an alien concept in Texas.
Stating this secular son of secular muslim father and secular Hindu mother who was previously married to a Jew is interested in establishing sharia law doesn't really warrant a response, does it?
