It all came down to my lovely Hynde's and Durtgurl's. "Slut" was very moving and you'd be guessing since my poems are sometimes have emotion played out, I'd pick "Slut". Reading the two, Prodigal of Blue vs. The Bachelor's hand... I have to go with Laur's. Not only the picture reflects my life's image, she also echoes similar words as well.

I want to thank the readers that nominated Boarding School Sex Training Ch 8 for best in the Anal Category and also for Precious Things in the Mature category. Precious Things was co-written with Jessy19. It was her dare to me that we write a "romantic" story. If you have read my others, you know that is not my usual story subject matter.

I was going through the Literotica Links, and was in complete shock to see that I was nominated for influential writer. Thank you so much for the honor, and I'm amazed by the company in the category. I really don't know what to say. Life has been a tough roller coaster recently, and this was a silver lining in a dark cloud. Thank you again to everyone!! I'm very grateful!

1) how about a category for 'Gay Mystery'? I just finished reading 2 excellent gay mystery's.

2) how does one go about nominating works for consideration?

I find it hard to fathom why in a readers choice award the reader is given only 5 fine stories to choose from. If its readers choice surely one would expect to have a choice. not have some one pick five no matter how good those five are. I have voted but would have liked the additional option of having a real readers choice. Jack

A question regarding the lit.com awards

There seems to be one element thats missing... Best NEW writer.

Perhaps there's no way to verify a NEW writer, but I've only been submitting stories since Nov.03...

But then.. I have no talent I suppose compared to the nominees...

Well...I am amazed at seeing my name in the running for 'Most Influential Writer'. Humbled too. I can see that I am in extremely good company. Thank you all.

I only hope that I can continue writing in the manner that got me here. There are many great writers here at Lit. To be considered among them is an honor for sure.

Bablefish makes things slightly easier...it's not a perfect translator, but it makes it readable.

Ok, is this scummy or am I being Anal?

I've voted in the other categories I'm in... aka most influential writer and Gay male story. I voted for others because, well, I think their stuff was better.

HOWEVER, in "Sexiest Male Character"... I really think my own character is the sexiest, but I haven't voted because I'm torn. Is it OK to vote for yourself?!? or is that just skummy and I should just not vote in that category?
