Gaven Newsome preached that Gay marriage would occur in our lifetimes because its the right thing to do!

KQED - our local PBS station showed the great documentary called Rainbow Pride. It has the history of the eight color flag and good interviews.

Wow, it's been quite a while since I've made it to the Big one. I think the early '80's was the last one. Man, I wish I had KQED over here. I miss that station.

Anyway, pics, pics! Did you take any?

:)

Are you kidding?! Between that and NASCAR being here I hid out in my own little area and just watched it on TV.

The rainbow flag is an abomination. How could a group of gay men design something that looks like Rainbow Brite puked it up?

The original ones were hand dyed fabric and the colors each stand for a different thing. They had a hard time finding pink canvas for the first manufactured ones since no other type of flag uses pink.

Better than the pink triangle to me.

All of which I knew. None of which makes it any less ugly.

There's something embarrassing about creating a flag for sexuality, anyway. And/or arrogant.

Well us hippies and crystal chakra people weren't too thrilled about it either. I don't display any kind of rainbow anymore.

Is there an African American Rights flag or a Woman's Rights flag? Gays are like the last minority class left to be (or not be) acknowledged.
