I'm thinking about doing it...or at least trying...heres the sample menu for it. I think I'm gonna buy the stuff on this menu and try it for a few weeks...should keep my metabolism going and lose a ton of weight. :)

200 day :
Breakfast : 1/2 c Fiber One Cereal: 60
Lunch : 1 c chicken or beef buillion: 5
Snack : 8 Quaker Apple Cinnamon Mini Rice Cakes: 60
Dinner : 1 Campbell's Soup at Hand Chicken 'n Stars: 70
Total : 195 cals

400 day :
Breakfast : 1 c Quaker Puffed Rice Cereal + 1/2 c nonfat milk: 90
Lunch : 1 Campbell's Soup at Hand Chicken 'n Stars: 70
Snack : 3 plain Quaker Rice cakes: 105
Dinner : 1 and 1/3 cup Total Corn Flakes + 1/2 cup Skim Milk: 150
Total : 405

600 day :
Breakfast : 1 and 1/3 cup Total Corn Flakes + 1/2 cup Skim Milk (150)
Lunch : 2 slices Orowheat Lite Bread + 1 slice Kraft Fat Free Cheese: 110
Snack : 8 Quaker Apple Cinnamon Mini Rice Cakes: 60
Dinner : 1 Stouffer's Lean Cuisine Chicken Fettucini: 270
Total : 590

800 day :

You cant do it that low!! The lowest you can go, is 800. And thats even pushing it. Have you gone insane?

I already know whats going to happen.
1--- she is going to not be able to keep it up.. and go back to her normal eating.
or..
2---- She is going to be in the hospital, because her kidneys went into shock.



either way, we are going to see many threads about it.

We'll see. This doesn't prevent her from drinking water, so her kidneys should be fine. At 200 calories, maybe her body will kick in and start releasing fat. I'm not fond of her sampling menu, but there's nothing I can tell Dolly that will make her eat right, so you might as well get used to her doing it her way.

You should know by know that no matter what you tell her, she will have either an excuse or some reason why she won't or can't do something.

worst thing that'll happen is if I can't stick to it...but I'm going to try really hard.

my friend fasted for an entire month straight...nothing but green tea and water...nothing bad happened to her...cept she couldn't sleep...but thats normal when you're fasting...

yea, i should have realized that already.
Oh well. And by the way, her body will not kick in and start releasing fat. It would be going after the muscles.

what will happen is this...
you will never be able to maintain that sort of eating.
as soon as you eat normal again, you will gain everything back and probably more.
you will do damage to your body

That's what happens when she gains weight as well. Her muscles are already deteriorated and nothing will bring that back except exercise which she won't do, so....

so basically, she is just screwed. Only way to loose weight healthy, and keep it off, it to eat at least 900-1100 calories a day, drinking at LEAST 8 glasses of water, and having 24 oz of milk daily... and excersizing 3-4 times a week.

None of the so-called fad diets work, that's already been proven. You lose a few pounds, then gain it back. Dolly is already screwed because of her binging and purging and eating laxative like it was candy. I'm betting that she won't be able to stick with it long. Until she is ready to do what is right, you have to let her self destruct her own way.
 
Well, I agree, it should be interesting...

I really think these threads about diets would be much more exciting if we just created a little betting pool. How many days it lasts... If Day One actually only has 200 calories...How much she loses...How much she gains back...

Just so I understand correctly, do you do these days in sequence over and over again? So in a week you have 2-200 cal. days, 2-400 cal. days, 2-600 cal. days and one 800 cal. day?

Out of curiosity, where do you come up with these diets?

Well i think this stupid idea she has, would actually be the destruction... and she will definantly learn.
