The 175th Week of Trumpian Terror!

Whether overwhelmed, bored or just plain lazy, it looks like Trump’s done fighting the pandemic

Apart from the rah-rah claims from the White House, the theme repeatedly popping up is that Donald Trump has simply given up fighting the coronavirus — even with 83,000 U.S. deaths.

Trump’s promotional turn to recovery and re-opening a dead economy, one that lacks consumer confidence and record joblessness, is seen as quitting the underlying cause for continuing concern.

The United States, the world’s leading economy, is unwilling to participate in international anti-virus research efforts. We have been flooded with reports from around the world marveling that Trump has proved ineffective in his own country and in theirs.

Trump is being seen as lazy in a situation calling for alert, effective action.

“Around the world, countries are winning the battle against the coronavirus and beginning a responsible return to work, school and leisure, confident that their governments have the deadly virus in check,” wrote columnist Dana Milbank in The Washington Post.

“But the United States plays the loser. Unwilling to do the hard work needed to beat the pandemic, we are quitting: forcing people back to work without protections people in other countries enjoy. The most powerful country in the world is failing.”

Your PeeResident is failing to lead and is falling back on reelection hopes. If he is not reelected he will most certainly go to jail. :D

Biden adds to Trump's Terror!

Biden commits: No pardon for Trump after the election

If Trump loses in November and is indicted after leaving office, he apparently shouldn't call the Oval Office looking for a favor.

Joe Biden and Stacey Abrams covered quite a bit of ground last night during a virtual town hall-style event on MSNBC, but I was especially interested in one voter's question.

Former Vice President Joe Biden said Thursday that he would not pardon President Donald Trump if elected and insisted any prosecutorial decisions would be left to a more independent Justice Department.

The voter specifically referenced then-President Gerald Ford's pardon of Richard Nixon and asked whether Biden would publicly commit to a more hands-off approach.

"Absolutely, yes," Biden replied. "I commit." The former vice president went on to condemn Trump's and Attorney General Bill Barr's brazen politicization of federal law enforcement.

If this sounds at all familiar, it's because this wasn't the first time the Delaware Democrat broached the subject. In October of last year, the former vice president appeared on an Iowa radio show and said that Gerald Ford's Nixon pardon may have been well intentioned, but it was a mistake Biden wouldn't repeat.

‘Not that articulate’: Fox News attacks Obama for slamming Trump’s pandemic response

The hosts of Fox & Friends on Sunday lashed out at former President Barack Obama after he criticized President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Obama made the remarks while delivering a commencement address by video to 78 historically black colleges on Saturday.

“This pandemic has fully, finally torn back the curtain on the idea that so many of the folks in charge know what they’re doing. A lot of them aren’t even pretending to be in charge,” Obama said without mentioning Trump’s name.

Compared to Trumpski's word salad, Obama was positively Churchillian!:)

I’m just here to say hi since nobody else pays any attention to you. You’re welcome.

Trump’s Florida voter registration trips up his Mar-a-Lago plans

Amid all the intensity and serious of pandemic, this little fable with no international significance has been percolating over in a quiet corner of our world.

Once upon a time, a couple of months ago, Donald Trump moved his formal residence – and voting address – from the gilded Trump Tower in New York City to the equally exclusive Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. But, in doing so, he stubbed his toe on local regulations that now are keeping him from adding a dock to his property.

Maybe he plans to move from golf to boating. More likely, he wanted to serve his high-flying friends and visitors at Mar-a-Lago by providing a waterside mooring.

Now, Trump has ended up withdrawing his dock request after The Washington Post disclosed that there was a local law requiring that only residential owners are eligible for docks in the interior south Florida waterways.

If it is a residence then the Club has to close, and if it's Club then Trump is guilty of voter fraud! Pick one dummy!:):)

Trump takes another ominous step toward dictatorship

Step by ominous step, Donald Trump is eliminating or blocking every Constitutional check and balance on his administration so that he can evade accountability for his corrupt administration.

The only path still open to save America from becoming an autocracy is the ballot box in November. Even there Trump is working to rig the election with help from his Secretary of State and various elected Republican leaders.

Yes Trumpski is an emerging Dictator. If the Rethuglicunts won't stop him (See Moscow Mitch & CO.) out a a fear that MItch will also lose his power to corrupt the Judiciary, it may fall to other Constitutional methods may be the salvation of our Republic.

Trump ridiculed after announcing he’s been taking hydroxychloroquine for weeks

President Donald Trump announced Monday that he’s been taking hydroxychloroquine recreationally for weeks. It’s something doctors have urged people not to take without being on a heart monitor so they could watch in case the person’s heart rate became irregular.

It was an admission that prompted many to break into hysterics with questions and comments about Trump’s casual drug use amid a pandemic.

I'd remind him that if one pill is okay, then five should prevent Covid-19 forever! :)

Trump supporters hurl insults at Fox’s Neil Cavuto after fact-checking Trump on discredited drug cocktail

On Monday, after President Donald Trump publicly announced he has been taking the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine as part of a discredited coronavirus treatment protocol, Fox News’ Neil Cavuto warned his viewers that there was no medical basis for the use of the drug, and that it could cause life-threatening heart problems. He also brought on a doctor and medical professor who emphasized the health risk.

Cavuto’s warning quickly exploded across social media, as enraged supporters of President Donald Trump hurled abuse at him. Some promoted a conspiracy theory that the medical establishment is trying to bury hydroxychloroquine because the drug remdesivir — which has been shown to benefit COVID-19 patients in clinical trials — is patented and therefore presumably more expensive.

Yes, PeeResident Trumpski, double up on the pills to save America ! :)

Trump says a doctor he’s ‘never heard of’ sent him a letter about hydroxychloroquine so he decided to take it

President Donald Trump says he started taking hydroxychloroquine to prevent contracting COVID-19 after a physician he doesn’t know and “never heard of” sent him a letter touting the anti-malaria medication.

Asked by a reporter if he started taking it because he’s “been exposed,” Trump quickly interjected, “No, not at all.”

“I’ve had so many letters from people, like the one I told you about, I got it last week, I’ll give you – would you like a copy of it? I’d love to give you – if you ask Mollie she’ll give you a copy of it. But this is a doctor he doesn’t want anything I don’t know him never heard of him. He treats people that are that we’re talking about and he said out of hundreds of people that he’s treated he hasn’t lost one. And he just wanted me to know about it. That’s all. He wasn’t saying, ‘Gee can I have dinner with you Mr. President? I’d like to come to the White House.’ Biut I’ve received many such letters.”

Pompeo defends firing watchdog who lawmaker says probing Saudi arms

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Monday denied committing an act of retaliation by firing an internal watchdog, who lawmakers said was probing both arms sales to Saudi Arabia and the top US diplomat’s use of a staffer.

Breaking a weekend of silence on President Donald Trump’s dismissal late Friday of Inspector General Steve Linick, Pompeo said the former prosecutor was “undermining” the State Department’s mission. He did not give details.

The loyal ally of Trump confirmed to The Washington Post that he recommended the firing to the president and said he did not have to justify the move.

“It’s simply not possible for this to be an act of retaliation. End of story,” Pompeo told the newspaper, saying he was unaware of any investigation of his conduct.

:) Sure Mike, sure, right. :)

Trump receives hilarious response after retweeting resistance member — who was mocking Fox News

President Donald Trump retweeted one of his prominent online critics during his Monday evening attacks on Fox News anchor Neil Cavuto.

The leader of the free world retweeted “The Hoarse Whisperer” Twitter account. Followed by over a quarter-million, @HoarseWisperer is known for hilarious online jabs at the Republican president.

Here is the tweet Trump spread to his 79.9 million followers:

The Hoarse Whisperer @HoarseWisperer
Fox News on hydroxychloroquine in the last two days:

Neil Cavuto: It’ll kill you!!!
Laura Ingraham: Take it! Take it! Take it!

Following the retweet, “The Hoarse Whisperer” responded directly to Trump with a prediction about people urinating on Trump’s grave.

Replying to @realDonaldTrump

Your eventual tomb will see more urine than a stadium bathroom.

‘She sure knows how to needle him’: Internet reacts to Pelosi’s warning Trump is ‘morbidly obese’

On Monday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) warned that President Donald Trump is in danger of adverse reactions to hydroxychloroquine, in part because he is “morbidly obese.”

Pelosi’s remarks immediately blew up on social media, with commenters noting that her remarks are perfectly calibrated to provoke a reaction from the president.

@atrupar

Nancy Pelosi on Trump saying he's taking hydroxychloroquine: "He's our president and I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group and in his, shall we say, weight group -- morbidly obese, they say."

Dick Cheney’s former cardiologist estimates Trump’s chances of dying if he catches the coronavirus

“The White House medical unit obviously made a calculated decision that they considered his risk of taking the drug lower than his risk of actually contracting the virus,” he said. “My calculations, I think his risk… he probably has a 15 to 20 percent chance of dying of this virus should he contract it.
Well that covers the Trumpski's gambit to "Own The Lib's!" But Nancy sure knows how to jerk his chain!:D:D:D

Trump family loses bid to have ‘ugly pyramid scheme’ class action lawsuit put on hold: report

President Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and The Trump Organization were dealt a blow Monday when a federal court judge refused to put a class action lawsuit against the family and the family business on hold.

Calling it an “Ugly Pyramid Scheme,” Law & Crime reports the “class action plaintiffs allege that the Trump family business promoted a multi-level marketing, or pyramid, scheme known as ACN Opportunity, LLC. ACN, the plaintiffs said, was a ‘get-rich-quick scheme’ that relied on Trump and his family ‘conn[ing] each of these victims into giving up hundreds or thousands of dollars,’ in violation of various state laws.”

“Plaintiffs were duped about the nature of the relationship between ACN and Defendants,” Judge Lorna G. Schofield wrote.

The original case was filed “as an anti-‘racketeering enterprise’ action,” Law & Crime adds, but “was later streamlined” when two federal charges were removed after the Trumps tried to have the case dismissed.

A 2018 New York Times article on the original case reported that the “complaint alleges that Mr. Trump and his family received secret payments from three business entities in exchange for promoting them as legitimate opportunities, when in reality they were get-rich-quick schemes that harmed investors, many of whom were unsophisticated and struggling financially.”

Leasing their names for lucre could put all of them in jail!:D

The Obamagate scam: Bill Barr just admitted there’s no there there — but that won’t stop Trump

Seriously. Trump was impeached. That’s a thing that actually happened. Enough evidence was gathered by investigators, including transcripts and eyewitness testimony, to allege that Trump thought it’d be a clever idea to withhold military aid to Ukraine in order to extort that nation’s newly-elected president into announcing an investigation into Burisma, an energy company that had employed Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, on its board.

The operative word here is “announced.” It turned out that Trump didn’t actually need President Volodymyr Zelensky to launch a new probe into Biden and Burisma. All Trump wanted, in the end, was for Zelensky to publicly announce an investigation, irrespective of whether one was going to take place. The patina of impropriety was all Team Trump craved. Fortunately for the truth, Zelensky, a comedian by trade, was too smart to take the bait in Trump’s screwball plot.

On Monday, Barr announced that neither Barack Obama nor Joe Biden would face a criminal investigation as a consequence of Durham’s work. The attorney general told reporters, “I don’t expect Mr. Durham’s work will lead to a criminal investigation of either man.”

I suppose that’s good news for factual reality, but the president doesn’t need Obama or Biden to be charged with crimes. He only needs to repeat the nonsense word “Obamagate” over and over, often in all-caps on Twitter, for it to infiltrate the tenderized skulls of his fanboys — and maybe shoehorn the sinister-sounding word “unmasking” into his blurts every now and then, just to add another scare-word to the bogus appearance of criminality. Oh, and it’s almost certain that few if any Red Hats will figure out that Trump is doing to Biden exactly what Trump is accusing Obama of doing to Trump.

Donnie blows smoke and Billy just nods while trying not to smirk. :)

Trump just blew up his ally’s own defense of firing a key watchdog

:)
Republicans have been struggling to defend President Donald Trump’s crusade against administration inspectors general, a tactic to shut down independent scrutiny that the GOP undoubtedly would have decried under a Democratic White House. And on Monday, Trump admitted that he knew nothing of the reasoning behind his latest firing, completely blowing up the defense given just the day before by Republican Sen. Ron Johnson of Wisconsin.

“I think their independence needs to remain within their agencies,” Johnson said. “They work and serve the president of the United States. So I take a slightly different view in terms of what they should be independent from. They need to retain their independence within the agencies, so they can do inspections and investigations and provide that to their leadership, but primarily to the president.”

“I don’t know the gentleman,” Trump said. “I was happy to do it, Mike requested that I do it.”

In a hilarious slip-up, Pompeo himself essentially said the same thing in an interview with the Washington Post. He was pushed on the fact that reports have emerged that Linick was investigating Pompeo personally, which the secretary denied knowing about. In the denial, he accidentally said he made the “decision” to fire Linick, then quickly changed that to “recommendation”

Trumpublicunts can not keep their stories straight.:D:D:D:D:D:D
