The 171st Week Of Demented Donald's Destruction of Democracy

Last week was a disaster for Donald Dipshit and ended with him fomenting a Redneck Rebellion because his poll numbers were dwindling.

To start this 171st week the box scores are:
USA
710,272 Total cases, inconclusive since "Tests" are not available on sufficient numbers b/c Donnie is afraid of the truth.

+537 New Cases

37,175 Total Deaths attributed to Covid-19, also inconclusive as some deaths are not recorded as virus connected, again because the tests are not too well conducted and may be unreliable.

This is up 17,111 Deaths in the 170th week.

So in one week Donnie killed more people than 9/11, Pearl Harbour and the Afghan War!

It is fitting that we start the 171st Week with a comment from Rick Wilson:

Rick Wilson blisters Trump for inciting supporters to start a ‘COVID Civil War’ in order to cover his failures

According to Wilson, “Donald Trump fired the first shots in the COVID Civil War this week, a modern-day Jefferson Davis of the Pro-Plague States of America sending his opening salvo from Fort Twitter at Democratic governors who dared to question if it wasn’t just a wee bit early to end the stay-at-home orders in states still far to the left of the peak. He started the week with claims of ‘total authority’ and then cried about a supposed mutiny by mouthy state leaders. By Friday, he was up to calls to ‘liberate’ states.

According to the conservative, Trump lit the fuse and his biggest boosters — Fox News and his Facebook mob — did the rest encouraging the public to cause a ruckus.

“First of all, you should understand that none of this—zero, zip, nada —is organic. None of this is real. Every bit of it is being pushed on Trump’s behalf via the twin modalities of our doom: Fox and Facebook,” he wrote. “The crowds showing up for these ‘liberation rallies’ are lowing cattle, led down a chute to be fed or slaughtered, depending on the day. Their ignorance of their own state as philosophical zombies whose lives Trump is literally willing to sacrifice for a tiny bump in the stock market is breathtaking. Dying for a second-order economic effect will show the libs, right?”

“He wants his rebellion because it feeds into his brand of transgression and he believes it will benefit him politically; Donald Trump’s never tried to liberate a damn thing in his life except for banks from their money, porn stars from their panties, and rubes from their votes,” Wilson continued. “Let’s be clear about the things he’s going to do and the risks he is willing to take with the American people. Trump is telling us bluntly and plainly that he will stoke civil unrest to find a political pathway out of a galactic-scale fuck-up of his own making. He’s willing to let a disease that’s already killed 33,000 Americans due to his inaction and dishonesty spread further, faster, and more widely.”

Explaining that Trump knows his rabid base will run with any “crazy idea” he puts their heads, Wilson stated that the president is risking their lives by putting them at risk of contracting the coronavirus to fulfill his own needs — and that he doesn’t care.

It is hard to keep up with the numbers of dead, as Americans are dying faster than the press can report them!

‘Who takes a victory lap on piles of corpses?’: Trump blasted as ‘sociopathic monster’ for bragging about 65,000 deaths

Indeed!

Trump’s ‘dangerous behavior is getting worse as the stakes get higher’: columnist

Former DOJ official: Trump’s ‘Liberate’ tweets ‘incite insurrection’ – and that’s ‘illegal’

President Donald Trump may have gotten more than he bargained for Friday, when he posted three tweets, just sixteen words in total, that stunned and infuriated the nation and have legal experts weighing in on just how much trouble he could be in.

One, a former U.S. Dept. of Justice official, suggests possibly a lot.

“President Trump incited insurrection Friday against the duly elected governors of the states of Michigan, Minnesota and Virginia,” McCord begins. “Just a day after issuing guidance for re-opening America that clearly deferred decision-making to state officials — as it must under our Constitutional order — the president undercut his own guidance by calling for criminal acts against the governors for not opening fast enough.”

“‘Liberate’ — particularly when it’s declared by the chief executive of our republic — isn’t some sort of cheeky throwaway,” McCord continues. “Its definition is ‘to set at liberty,’ specifically ‘to free (something, such as a country) from domination by a foreign power.’ We historically associate it with the armed defeat of hostile forces during war, such as the liberation of Western Europe from Nazi Germany’s control during World War II. Just over a year ago, Trump himself announced that ‘the United States has liberated all ISIS-controlled territory in Syria and Iraq.'”

In that context, it’s not at all unreasonable to consider Trump’s tweets about “liberation” as at least tacit encouragement to citizens to take up arms against duly elected state officials of the party opposite his own, in response to sometimes unpopular but legally issued stay-at-home orders.

And that’s why these tweets aren’t protected free speech. Although generally advocating for the use of force or violation of law is protected (as hard to conceive as that may be when the statements are made by someone in a position of public trust, like the president of the United States), the Supreme Court has previously articulated that where such advocacy is “inciting or producing imminent lawless action and is likely to incite or produce such action,” it loses its First Amendment protection.

Nancy, are you ready to Impeach All The Mother Fuckers, again? You won't need any witnesses as everyone will have read his " Treason" on Twitter and the MSM! Mitch will have to allow His Own Words to convict him!

Trump could be First PeeResident to be Impeached more than once. Probably once a week!:)

Ivanka Trump offered an idea of how Americans could spend Saturday night — and it did not go well

First daughter and senior White House advisor Ivanka Trump offered a suggestion for bored Americans to do during the COVID-19 shutdowns.

She suggested people, “try making shadow puppets from Henry Bursill’s recently unearthed 1860’s book of engraving.”

At least two Twitter users offered photos of a shadow made by a hand, but they were not shaped as an animal.

:)

Doesn’t every one have a recently unearthed book on their shelves?

Trump is insane: And it’s time for leading Democrats to say that out loud

Psychologists warn of the deadly consequences of the “silent partner” in abusive homes. When a father beats or sexually assaults a child, the family will often react by refusing to discuss the abuse, allowing silence to enable the predator and protect against confronting a reality that is too painful and frightening.

For all the criticism that Democrats and pundits advance against Trump, their refusal to state the obvious forces the American public to feel as if we are the ones confined to a mental institution. It also emboldens Trump, even as he prioritizes his fragile ego, his compulsion to appear infallible and political expediency above the lives of countless human beings.

The most popular terms that Trump’s opponents use are “liar,” “un-American,” “egomaniac” and “malignant narcissist.” All of these labels are weak, which is why we watch as Trump peels them off like Band-Aids after a shower. Half the public probably doesn’t know what “malignant narcissist” means, while “un-American” is too vague and ideological to have any widespread resonance. “Liar” quickly collapses into the “all politicians lie” refrain, and “egomania” is borderline meaningless, considering that almost anyone who becomes famous in our consumer society — including most high-powered CEOs, Hollywood celebrities and professional athletes — obviously have massively swollen egos.

The reality that is too painful and frightening for many Americans to confront is that the wealthiest and most militarily powerful country in the world, during a pandemic, is under the leadership of someone who is certifiably nuts.

"In your guts, you know he's Nuts!"

The PeeResidnet is not sane, or insane, or simply Nuts and the Rethuglicunts don't fuckin' care.

Trump’s ‘dangerous behavior is getting worse as the stakes get higher’: columnist

In a blunt-talking column for the Daily Beast, longtime political observer Margaret Carlson warned that Donald Trump seems to be spiraling out of control as the coronavirus death toll in the U.S. climbs and his re-election prospects plummet.

As Carlson pointed out, “Donald Trump’s conduct in a week when Wednesday’s record number of coronavirus deaths doubled next day to a new record of 4,591 can only be understood if you realize that the president is not a 73-year-old man with the experience and maturity that suggests. Trump is actually a 10-year-old having aged in reverse dog years. He has the crimped emotions and empathy of a deluded superhero (“only I can fix it”), the limitations of a C-student, and the work ethic of a pre-teen who resents any challenge to his fragile ego and responds positively only to praise. All he does now is try to make to reality disappear.”

or
"In your guts you know he's nuts!"

I don't have to go into my guts to know Donald Trump is nuts--or that he is an espionage asset of the Russian government.

WATCH: Trump brags about saving the lives of one billion Americans with his COVID-19 response

President Donald Trump bragged about saving one billion lives by blocking travel from China.

Trump made the claim during his Saturday Coronavirus Task Force briefing.

The United States Census Bureau — part of Trump’s own administration — estimated that the United States had 328,239,523 people in July of 2019, which means Trump believes he saved every American life more than three times.

Proof that he doesn't even know what a Billionaire is!:)

‘He’s a weak leader’: Nancy Pelosi forces Fox News viewers to hear truth about Trump ‘mistakes’

Absolutely flaccid!

Trump blows a gasket at ‘dumb person’ Nancy Pelosi after she calls him a ‘weak leader’ on Fox News

President Donald Trump on Sunday complained that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a “dumb” person after she called him a “weak leader” in an interview on Fox News.

The remarks were made by Pelosi to Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace.

“Name anybody, blame the governors, blame me, blame the World Health Organization,” the Speaker said of Trump. “Leaders take responsibility. So I said he’s a weak leader. He doesn’t take responsibility. He places blame on others.”

Ohhh! So harsh, Nancy!:)

The interview which took place on one of Trump’s beloved conservative platforms seemed to penetrate the president’s bubble.

“Nervous Nancy is an inherently ‘dumb’ person,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “She wasted all of her time on the Impeachment Hoax.”

“She will be overthrown, either by inside or out, just like her last time as ‘Speaker,'” he said before adding, “Wallace & @FoxNews are on a bad path, watch!”

GOP

@GOP

Today, Nancy Pelosi is appearing on Fox News Sunday.

When the #PaycheckProtectionProgram ran out of funding, she decided playing politics was more important than saving #SmallBiz.

It is time for the Democrats to be held accountable for putting millions in financial limbo.

:D:D:D

Chris Wallace spanks Mike Pence with Trump’s tweets ‘fomenting domestic rebellion’ during a pandemic

Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday defended President Donald Trump for inciting protests in the middle of a pandemic.

During an interview on Fox New Sunday, host Chris Wallace noted that demonstrators calling for the economy to reopen were seen violating social distancing guidelines.

Pence, however, praised the president instead of answering the question.

Typical Mike nonanswer.

Trump is encouraging a corporate-backed astroturf ‘uprising’ against his own COVID-19 guidelines

https://www.rawstory.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/protest_afp.jpg

Don't look like a "Million Moms" to me.

Donald Trump threw another tantrum this week, maniacally tweeting in all caps, “LIBERATE MICHIGAN,” “LIBERATE VIRGINIA” and so on. On their face, the tweets amounted to the Commander-in-Chief inciting rebellion, which is a felony. The regime naturally denied this interpretation, but as NBC reported, the message “pushed many online extremist communities to speculate whether the president was advocating for armed conflict, an event they’ve termed ‘the boogaloo,’ for which many far-right activists have been gearing up and advocating since last year.” What could go wrong?

But coherence, or lack thereof, doesn’t matter. This entire “uprising” is a propaganda campaign coordinated by the Republican Party, various corporate-funded advocacy groups and “the Proud Boys, conservative armed militia groups, religious fundamentalists, anti-vaccination groups and other elements of the radical right,” according to The Guardian, and promoted relentlessly by Fox News and other conservative media outlets. The Michigan protest, for example, “was organized by the Michigan Conservative Coalition, which Michigan state corporate filings show has also operated under the name of Michigan Trump Republicans. It was also heavily promoted by the Michigan Freedom Fund, a group linked to the Trump cabinet member Betsy DeVos.”

Yet all the caterwauling and propaganda in the world won’t change the fact that we need three times as much testing capacity as we currently have before we can even consider opening up the economy safely.

#Treasonous Trumpinistas! :)

‘Useless propaganda’: Chuck Todd faces backlash after he admits giving Mike Pence ‘a lot of leeway’ to lie

NBC host Chuck Todd on Sunday accused Vice President Mike Pence of failing to answer his questions about the Trump administration’s reaction to the novel coronavirus.

In an interview on Meet the Press, Todd asked the vice president why President Donald Trump had contradicted his own CDC guidelines by tweeting a call to “liberate” certain states from stay-at-home policies.

But the vice president declined to give a straight answer as he had throughout the 20 minute interview.

‘You don’t have the brains you were born with’: Defensive Trump goes off on CNN reporter

President Donald Trump unleashed on CNN as a reporter was asking why he comes out to talk about being praised by governors when people are dying.

“You’re CNN. You’re fake news!” Trump shouted. “You don’t have the brains you were born with.”

‘Nice and easy. Just relax. Keep your voice down’: Trump lashes out at CBS reporter asking tough questions

"Just one more question Mr PeeResident, Why are you such a DICK?"

Trump warned by conservative allies he has one month to salvage his re-election: report

According to a report from Politico, conservative allies of Donald Trump are advising him to move quickly on pushing the re-opening of the country as soon as possible to satisfy his base and, thereby, salvage his re-election prospects.

According to one influential conservative, President Trump has one month to either win or lose the November presidential election.

“Trump aides and allies say they are growing confident that an earlier restart amid the coronavirus pandemic could help the president in his reelection campaign, according to six people close to the White House or Trump campaign,”They point to emerging signs around the country. Trump-supported activists are protesting strict stay-at-home orders. Conservative groups’ internal polling in red-leaning and swing states show a significant uptick in Americans who favor reopening the country. A growing chorus of Republican lawmakers across the nation are on board.”

In reality land, it is a DNC plot to make Trump fail during a second wave of DEATHS!:)

Bill Barr is about to take the fall for Trump’s coronavirus policy: report

Wow, Click Bait Headline!
I thought that Billy was going to "Fall on his sword" and got excited for the PPV! But, NO he's just going to try to pervert the Law again!!!

According to a report from the Daily Beast, Attorney General Bill Barr appears poised to take the lead and attempt to force governors to re-open their states during the coronavirus pandemic — even at the risk of ramping up the spread of the virus when it appears to be slowing down.

In the process, he could become the face of Donald Trump’s failures to stem the COVID-19 health crisis.

So Lumpy needs his fixer to join Pence as the shield to catch flack. Hardly worth the read.

‘Living in a failed state’: Devastating column slams Trump’s administration for being ‘too corrupt or stupid to head off mass suffering’

In an op-ed for The Atlantic this Monday, columnist George Packer argues that the coronavirus didn’t “break” America — it revealed what was already broken.

When the virus began to emerge in the U.S., the country already had a number of underlying conditions, according to Packer — conditions that were being “ruthlessly” exploited. “…a corrupt political class, a sclerotic bureaucracy, a heartless economy, a divided and distracted public—had gone untreated for years,” Packer writes. “We had learned to live, uncomfortably, with the symptoms. It took the scale and intimacy of a pandemic to expose their severity—to shock Americans with the recognition that we are in the high-risk category.”

Packer contends that while the U.S. needed a response to the outbreak that was concise and goal oriented, the Trump administration acted like the governments of Pakistan or Belarus — “like a country with shoddy infrastructure and a dys*func*tional government whose leaders were too corrupt or stupid to head off mass suffering.”
Defend democracy. Click to invest in courageous progressive journalism today.

“The administration squandered two irretrievable months to prepare,” he writes. “From the president came willful blindness, scapegoating, boasts, and lies. From his mouthpieces, conspiracy theories and miracle cures. A few senators and corporate executives acted quickly—not to prevent the coming disaster, but to profit from it. When a government doctor tried to warn the public of the danger, the White House took the mic and politicized
the message.”

It is not the State that failed, it was our "Party of Personal Responsibility" that has failed to take responsibility!

Trump’s no ‘political genius’ — ‘he buries himself every afternoon’ with crazed COVID-19 briefings: MSNBC’s Morning Joe

MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough busted President Donald Trump for tanking his re-election chances with his unhinged coronavirus briefings.

The “Morning Joe” host pointed to a variety of polls and election results that showed Americans were sick of the president, and said his daily briefings were only reinforcing that dislike.

“I’ve been talking about, again, it’s part of this bigger theme, like liberals freak out and say, ‘Oh, Donald Trump is getting away with everything, what are we going to do?’ like we’ve been hearing it for three years,” Scarborough said. “He gets away with nothing. The voters pummel him. They pummeled him in 2017 in Virginia, they pummeled him in Kentucky in 2019, they pummeled him in historic manner in 2018, in a landslide of historic — literally historic proportions. He gets away with nothing.”

When Joe starts self-flagellation for his pumping of Trump in 2016, then I will give him some slack, but he helped the Trumpen-furor get elected so... fuck him!:)
