As this week starts with more public Testimony, we see Donnie Boy increasingly panicked!

Trump ignored aides’ advice before first Ukraine call — and it destroyed his impeachment defense

President Donald Trump has repeatedly referred to himself as his own top advisor and a political “genius.” But his interactions with Ukraine at the heart of the impeachment inquiry could demonstrate the limitations of such an approach to governing.

Friday’s bombshell, behind-closed-door testimony from David Holmes has made White House aides unhappy, but the bad news for the administration did not stop there.

“One of Republicans’ central defenses in the impeachment inquiry has been that Trump cares deeply about corruption in Ukraine, which is why he asked Zelensky in July to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter’s dealings with the country,” Bertrand noted.

PeeResident Good Brain fucks the whole thing up, again!

Holmes testified yesterday that he heard Trump whining about about Bidien in a cell phone call with Sondland.

Sondland is in ‘a world of trouble’ after Holmes revelations: Ex-White House adviser

On CNN Saturday, David Guy, the former special impeachment adviser to President Bill Clinton, told anchor Christi Paul that President Donald Trump’s angry tweet against Marie Yovanovitch, and State Department aide David Holmes’ new testimony that he overheard President Donald Trump talking to EU Ambassador Gordon Sondland about military aide, are huge problems for both the president and Sondland.

Was this all 'about' Corrumption or was it 'evidence" of CORRUPTION!

Hidden in last weeks news was the fact that Rudy was hyping a gas deal to sell American Gas to the Ukraine via a pipeline from Poland to Ukraine, and that is what this whole kerfuffel is really about!

It was a business deal, not politics! "Fuck a bunch of politics, we've got a business to build!"

Will the House Dem's follow the money or is the Oil Lobby just 'too connected?"

Trump’s weakest impeachment defense yet somehow blew up in his face

When President Donald Trump said he was planning to release the record of his April 21 call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, many observers yawned. In the controversy surrounding the July 25 call, some had raised questions about Trump’s only other call with the new leader, but interest in the April 21 conversation died down as the evidence against the president in the broader Ukraine scandal became so overwhelming and damning.

Yet somehow, the release of the new records — again, a decision made largely of Trump’s own initiative — completely backfired.

Despite the fact that the original White House statement about the call claimed Trump and Zelensky discussed “reforms that strengthen democracy, increase prosperity, and root out corruption” — the U.S. president didn’t mention corruption once on the April 24, according to the records. Likewise, Trump didn’t mention fighting corruption in his July 25 call, either — he only mentioned investigations of his opponents.

So, instead of supporting the idea that Trump really cares about fighting corruption — which always sounded like a joke — the focus on the April 21 call just emphasizes that the president is, in fact, actively uninterested in this foreign policy objective.

It was 'just bid'ness, I guess.:)

‘Rudy has got to be looking at handcuffs’: Ex-prosecutor says Giuliani will have a tough time in prison

Another Donald Trump attorney is looking at serving prison time, a former federal prosecutor predicted on MSNBC on Friday.

MSNBC “Meet the Press Daily” host Chuck Todd asked former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner if prosecutors would be tougher on Giuliania because he had once been a prosecutor himself.

“It’s tough to figure out, first of all, how Rudy is going to play it because based on what we’ve seen and particularly if [Lev] Parnas flips, Rudy has got to be looking at handcuffs sometime soon,” Kirschner replied.

If Parnas flips on Rudy, will Rudy flip on Trumpski? Maybe they should lean on Parnas and expose the root cause, the Gas Deal!

:D

Feds now probing Giuliani’s links to Ukrainian natural gas projects – and if he profited from them

Federal investigators are now probing the ties of the President’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, into Ukrainian energy projects, and if he stood to gain financially in a business venture headed by his two “henchmen” who are now in jail.

The two associates infamously aided Giuliani’s efforts in Ukraine to launch investigations into Joe Biden and Hunter Biden in an attempt to assist President Donald Trump’s re-election efforts, The Wall Street Journal reports.

Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman “pitched their new company, and plans for a Poland-to-Ukraine pipeline carrying U.S. natural gas, in meetings with Ukrainian officials and energy executives this year.”

This is the latest federal investigation launched into Giuliani’s dealings.

Uh-oh, Rudy's gas bag is under investigation, how long before the Chucklefucks flip?

‘She’s in a cult’: George and Kellyanne Conway are ‘increasingly distant’ and Jared Kushner wants her gone

White House adviser Kellyanne Conway and her husband, conservative attorney George Conway, are not the first political couple with different views. But the others — Democratic strategist James Carville and outspoken conservative Mary Matalin, “Morning Joe” co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski on MSNBC — haven’t displayed near as extreme a cleavage as the Conways. And journalist Gabriel Sherman examines the Conways’ radically different views on President Donald Trump and some of the fallout this week in a Vanity Fair report.

Trump, Sherman notes, is furious over George Conway’s relentless attacks, and White House Senior Adviser Jared Kushner — according to a Sherman source — has pushed for his father-in-law to force Kellyanne Conway out of the administration because of her husband.

“Jared wants her gone. There’s real friction,” a White House source told Vanity Fair. And another anonymous source also described friction between Kellyanne Conway and Kushner, saying, “Kellyanne has complained that Jared has tried to do a number on her from day one.”

Oh my!

:D:D:D:D

Once boosted out of the White House, Kellyanne is going to be writing one hell of a tell all book. :)

Kremlin thrilled GOP is using their Ukraine talking points in impeachment hearings: ‘Everyone is laughing at you’

On Saturday, The Daily Beast reported that Russian officials are openly gloating about how Republican lawmakers are using Kremlin talking points to defend President Donald Trump from impeachment over the Ukraine scandal.

“As Russia’s state media watch impeachment proceedings against U.S. President Donald J. Trump they’re loving what they see,” wrote Julia Davis for the Beast. “They don’t think the man they brag about getting elected is in much danger. They listen in delight as Republicans parrot conspiracy theories first launched by Russians. And they gloat about the way Trump removed U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, because they blame her for promoting democratic ‘color revolutions’ that weakened Moscow’s hold on the former Soviet empire. Best of all, from the Kremlin’s point of view, they see Trump pushing Ukraine back into the Russian fold.”

The question remains is Trumpski a witting , unwitting or dimwitted agent of Russian foreign policy?:D

Scrutiny of Trump’s corruption is exposing the grifters who latched onto him

In a weekend column for the Washington Post, conservative and Donald Trump critic Max Boot revelled in the fact that a motley assortment of grifters and scam-artists latched onto the president to increase their own fortunes — only to see his trials and tribulations cause their own lives to be put under the microscope.

With the embattled president currently the subject of a rare impeachment inquiry, Boot said increased scrutiny of some administration appointees has exposed more than a few as frauds.

Oh my!

According to the columnist and policy adviser, “Ethical, well-qualified people refuse to work” for Trump, so the administration is littered with “dim and disgraceful” instead of the best and the brightest.

House of Cards, hardly, ... House of Jokers, more likely!:D

Trump visited a hospital today for a non-routine, unstated reason.

Anyone who is still questioning that is an unusually shallow thinker. With Trump, all roads lead to Vladimir Putin.

While I don't object to your point, the question is, is it Trump prostituting himself, or is it Trumpski taking advantage of Putin's ploy? Vlad is just letting Donnie think that he is too clever by half as long as Trumpski destroys American leadership.

Or, could Vlad be leading Trumpski into a position to profit, knowing that Donnie will bankrupt himself and leave the American Republic in corrupt tatters?

I think that 2016 was Vlad doing dirty to Hillary, not to help Trump the fool, but to disrupt the Rethuglicunt Party as a astro-turfed ally. Vlad will let Trump take the fall and laugh, LOL, :)

"US, S Korea postpone joint exercise criticized by N Korea
ABC|2 hours ago
U.S. Defense Secretary Mark Esper said Sunday the United States and South Korea have indefinitely postponed a joint military exercise in an "act of goodwill" toward North Korea. The move comes even as Japan's defense minister, whose country feels threatened by repeated North Korean missile launches, told Esper "no one could be ... "

Never Trump Republican predicts surprise Walter Reed visit an ‘excuse’ to resign for ‘health reason’

President Donald Trump made a surprise visit to Walter Reed Hospital on Saturday to undergo “portions” of his annual physical.

Following the visit, press secretary Stephanie Grisham claimed Trump was “healthy” and “without complaints” after the presidential motorcade returned to the White House.

Conservative pundit Cheri Jacobus suggested the visit was a political move to tee up Trump’s resignation — and pardoning.

He needed a new adderall prescription?:)

Exclusive: After private White House meeting, Giuliani associate Lev Parnas said he was on a 'secret mission' for Trump, sources say

New York (CNN)Among the many guests who had their pictures taken with President Donald Trump at the White House's annual Hanukkah party last year were two Soviet-born businessmen from Florida, Lev Parnas and Igor  Fruman.
In the picture, which Parnas posted on social media, he and Fruman are seen smiling alongside Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and Rudy Giuliani, the President's personal lawyer.

At one point during the party that night, Parnas and Fruman slipped out of a large reception room packed with hundreds of Trump donors to have a private meeting with the President and Giuliani, according to two acquaintances in whom Parnas confided right after the meeting.
Word of the encounter in the White House last December, which has not been previously reported, is further indication that Trump knew Parnas and Fruman, despite Trump publicly stating that he did not on the day after the two men were arrested at Dulles International Airport last month.

Eventually, according to what Parnas told his confidants, the topic turned to Ukraine that night. According to those two confidants, Parnas said that "the big guy," as he sometimes referred to the President in conversation, talked about tasking him and Fruman with what Parnas described as "a secret mission" to pressure the Ukrainian government to investigate Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
"James Bond mission"

In the days immediately following the meeting, Parnas insinuated to the two people he confided in that he clearly believed he'd been given a special assignment by the President; like some sort of "James Bond mission," according to one of the people.
To Parnas, the chain of command was clear: Giuliani would issue the President's directives while Parnas, who speaks fluent Russian, would be an on-the-ground investigator alongside Fruman, who has numerous business contacts in Ukraine.

"Parnas viewed the assignment as a great crusade," says one of the people in whom Parnas confided. "He believed he was doing the right thing for Trump."

:D

Bill Barr Bitches!

Bill Barr Is Just Like, Really Sick Of You People Being So Mean To Poor Donald Trump, OK?

Once upon a time, many years ago, Mitch McConnell told the National Journal that "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president." John Boehner, for his part, said, regarding Obama's agenda, "We're going to do everything — and I mean everything we can do — to kill it, stop it, slow it down, whatever we can."

For the next eight years, we all had to endure a revival of tricorn hats, the plaintive cries of "BUT HE'S A SOSHALIST MUSLIN!" and the repeated insistence from many, including the current occupant of the White House, that President Obama was secretly not even a citizen of the United States.

This, because it came from Republicans, was totally fine and normal and good and righteous. It was assumed, naturally, that they would get to throw all these tantrums and that when it came time for a Republican to be in office, the Democrats would not. That they would be their usual gracious selves and let the president do whatever he wanted because "Golly, he is the president" You know, like most of them did with authorizing Dubya's invasion of Iraq.

Fuck Bill Barr!:D

Trouble is with her liking for "alternative facts" could we believe her .

Doesn't matter, really. The payoff would be in Trump's response (and perhaps an unplanned hospital visit).

With impeachment, Trump has lost control of the news cycle — and he’s not handling it well

We’re still a year out from the election, but a strong early contender for the worst take among the chattering classes was the suggestion that Donald Trump secretly wanted to be impeached in order to fire up his base going into 2020. Not only is Trump’s based perpetually aggrieved–and constantly told by the conservative press that America will come to a nasty end if the “socialist Democrats” come to power–but this storyline also elided the president’s* narcissism.

Trumpski is going nutz as he can not control the press attention. Many of his minions are being outed as frauds, like him.:)

This Is How Trump’s Gangster Government Works

The president—like a clever drug dealer or gangster—knows the importance of plausible deniability. Now it’s the essence of the GOP defense.

I mention all of this because everything we have learned about Trump’s Ukraine gambit is perfectly in line with the portrait that emerged from the second volume of the Mueller report, which suggested that our president behaves like a gangster.

Deniiability, Deflection and Dumbshitery! How Rethuglicunts work!:D

White House desperately scheduling things for Trump to do so he won’t watch the impeachment hearings

Given President Donald Trump worked to intimidate witnesses in real-time during the hearings on the impeachment inquiry last week, the White House is desperately searching for something that can keep him busy.

Axios reported Sunday, the presidential daily schedule will be designed to keep the president distracted with their own counter-programming.

Protecting Donnie's blood pressure?:D

No way Pence didn’t know what Trump was up to in Ukraine after aide’s revelations:

A CNN panel discussion on testimony given by a top aide to Vice President Mike Pence said her revelations about what she knew about President Donald Trump’s Ukraine dealings can only mean Pence knew and is lying.

Speaking with New Day hosts John Berman and Alisyn Camerota, contributor Kaitlan Collins stated Jennifer Williams’ description of Trump’s Ukraine phone call was expected to set Trump off, which it did when the president raged at her on Sunday as a “Never Trumper.”

“I think the other thing about Jennifer Williams, and it’s not getting as much attention, is she does place Vice President Pence in an awkward position,” Lockhart suggested. “He either has to argue he doesn’t read his briefing book, doesn’t listen to his staff, or I was in on this. It’s one or the other. So far he’s escaped scrutiny here, but he was briefed on his way to Warsaw by her and apparently, it was in his briefing book”

Pence can use the Sgt Schultz defence, everybody will believe he's too stupid to know it was a crime.:)
