After last week's sucking swamp, this week starts off with a plea!

We Need All the Trump Defectors We Can Get. Even Mooch.

And in any case, the question of when Trump has crossed the tipping point of acceptability doesn’t really matter.

What matters is that people who actually know Trump and saw his administration from the inside are willing to publicly say that they no longer support him. Whether or not they can pass some kind of purity test is entirely beside the fact.

An adage I repeated often to my kids when they were young is “You get what you get and you don’t throw a fit.” If we start throwing fits about the quality of Trump defectors, well … we know what we’re going to get.

As Republicans circle the waggons, will they let Trump in the circle, or keep him out, where his false facts team can fend for themselves?

Recession looming and Trumpski saying only he can fix this shit, can anyone believe him????????????

‘He’s crazy’: MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace says Trump’s confused behavior is getting ‘impossible’ to ignore

MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace argued Friday on “Deadline: White House” that the signs of Trump’s frazzled and sometimes disjointed mental state are becoming “impossible” to ignore.

She first pointed to a passage in the New York Times report on his Thursday night rally, which said:

"His speech was at times a greatest hits album of favorite lines, replaying the 2016 campaign against Hillary Clinton and bashing the news media, Democrats and America’s allies in Europe. Typically rambling, veering on and off script seemingly at random over an hour and a half, he repeated points he had already made earlier in the evening as if he did not"

Have we ever had a Pres that was openly called crazy by the MSM?

Trump on Coming Debt Crisis: ‘I Won’t Be Here’ When It Blows Up

Since the 2016 presidential campaign, Donald Trump’s aides and advisers have tried to convince him of the importance of tackling the national debt.

Sources close to the president say he has repeatedly shrugged it off, implying that he doesn’t have to worry about the money owed to America’s creditors—currently about $21 trillion—because he won’t be around to shoulder the blame when it becomes even more untenable.

The friction came to a head in early 2017 when senior officials offered Trump charts and graphics laying out the numbers and showing a “hockey stick” spike in the national debt in the not-too-distant future. In response, Trump noted that the data suggested the debt would reach a critical mass only after his possible second term in office.

“Yeah, but I won’t be here,”
the president bluntly said, according to a source who was in the room when Trump made this comment during discussions on the debt.

Trump furious with Steve King for crippling his re-election chances in Iowa: CNN’s April Ryan

Sitting in with CNN’s Victor Blackwell on Sunday morning, contributor April Ryan relayed that Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is in big trouble not only with his party over his latest comments about rape and incest, but that Donald Trump is aggravated with him too because he may impact the president’s chances in Iowa in the 2020 election.

With King reeling from the fallout from his own comments made during an appearance earlier in the week, Ryan said that his days may be numbered because senior Republicans want him gone too.

"There is only room for ONE racist asshole in this country, Stevie boy! " declared Trumpski.:)

Internet goes wild over ‘obviously drunk’ Larry Kudlow on Fox News: ‘He’s lying while slurring his words’

Speculation was rampant on Sunday that White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow was drunk on Fox News.

“There is no economic recession in sight,” Kudlow insisted to Fox News Sunday host Dana Perino.

Twitter, however, was buzzing about Kudlow’s speech patterns instead of his questionable economic optimism.

“Pretty sure Larry Kudlow is drunk on my TV right now… And he is lying while slurring his words,” one Twitter user noted.

Drinking the Trump-aid?

Donald Trump and the Republican Party hate America: It’s time to say it out loud

For most of modern political history, the Republican Party has used patriotism — an odd and obfuscating sentimentality — as a weapon to shame critics of American foreign policy, and turn the general public against dissidents who reject the folly of Empire maintenance through violence. Samuel Johnson’s excoriation — made famous by Bob Dylan — that “patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels” always seemed accurate in both its denunciation of the manipulative emotion itself, and also of those who take advantage of it for political expediency.

America has collapsed into a prone position, however, where the scoundrels are so brazen in their inhumanity, so bold in their indifference to suffering, and so barbaric in their refusal to compromise for the sake of their own country that only their own language can aptly describe them.

President Donald Trump, his enablers in Congress and his most devoted supporters are anti-American and soft on terrorism.

Trump Has Spent 278 Years Of Presidential Salary On Taxpayer Funded Golf Trips

Trump boasted about donating his presidential salary, but his taxpayer-funded trips to his private golf clubs have cost taxpayers 278.5 years of presidential salary.

‘People don’t want to be stupid twice’: Foreign diplomats brace for Trump 2020 win

Foreign diplomats are still feeling burned after assuming Donald Trump would lose in 2016 — and they don’t want to be fooled again.

So many of them are quietly preparing for and predicting a Trump victory in 2020. Some are even trying to game out who will be on the president’s team in a second term. The belief that Trump will win reelection — gleaned from conversations with around 20 foreign diplomats, international officials and analysts who deal with them — appears widespread.

“In 2016, nobody believed he was going to be elected. People don’t want to be stupid twice,” said Gérard Araud, a former French ambassador to the United States.

Moscow Mitch doesn't seem to mind.;)

Anthony Scaramucci says Trump cabinet officials are preparing to turn on the president

Former Trump administration official Anthony Scaramucci predicts that some current cabinet officials are ready to jump ship and denounce President Donald Trump.

Scaramucci, who has recently abandoned his support for the president, told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota that some current administration officials will soon turn on Trump and work against his 2020 re-election.

“It’s a little bit like a cycle,” Scaramucci said. “I mean, if you can get the cycle started, some people that are fear-based due to the president’s bullying or the nonsense on his Twitter feed or how he handles himself personally, they’re intimidated by him.”

Rats-Ships?

“One person said, well, if he goes down in the polls or is politically wounded a little bit, I’ll feel more comfortable coming out,” he added. “The truth of the matter is, if you come out and say the truth, that will start the process.”

Scaramucci said he understood the reasons why Trump officials might continue to stand by the president, but he said they must eventually warn the public that the president is unfit for office.

Trump explodes at ‘mental wreck’ Scaramucci after blistering CNN segment — and then mocks his divorce

Keep punching Mooch!:rolleyes::D:D:D

Trump’s frantic conspiracy mongering is a distraction from looming recession: columnist

Economists have grown concerned that President Donald Trump’s trade wars with China will trigger a recession.

Writing in the Washington Post, columnist Greg Sargent points out that Trump is scared about the economy — so he’s resorting to lies and spreading conspiracy theories as a distraction.

“As President Trump prepares to run for reelection on the claim that his populist nationalist agenda has been a smashing success, it’s awfully telling that Trump and his advisers have now launched a frantic, multi-front effort to deny glaring truths about that agenda that are all right there in plain sight, for all of us to see,” Sargent writes.

“Trump is increasingly explaining away warning signs of a potential recession by resorting to lurid conspiracy theories.”

Sargent points out that Trump’s attacks on the Fed point to his increasing desperation. Then there’s his usual strategy of blaming everything on the media. “Trump claims the Federal Reserve is working against him. He also says the “Fake News Media” is fabricating recession fears — and exaggerating the damage of Trump’s trade war with China, a key driver of those fears — to cloud his reelection chances.”

Trump alleges Google manipulated voters against him
The Hill | Mon Aug 19, 2019 16:53 UTC

President Trump alleged Monday that Google manipulated millions of voters into supporting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election, saying the company "should be sued" in his latest attack

Trump’s latest attempt to smear Scaramucci dunked in mockery

At least one White House or campaign staffer apparently helped President Donald Trump attack his short-lived communications director Anthony Scaramucci — and he was met with mockery.

The president tweeted out a supercut video late Monday of Scaramucci defending Trump before his recent public disavowal, and attacked his former staffer as a “dope” who’s seeking fame.

George Conway erupts on Trump lackeys who are smearing Scaramucci: ‘These people work for a rapist!’

George Conway, the husband of Trump White House counselor Kellyanne Conway, lashed out on Tuesday at the Trump officials who anonymously attacked Scaramucci and accused them of overlooking President Donald Trump’s own abusive behavior.

“I love how these people who work for a rapist have no compunction about making accusations of abuse by someone who criticizes the rapist,” Conway wrote.

FEC Head Tells Trump To Knock Off The 'Voter Fraud' Bullsh*t

With Donald Trump on yet another tear about how he only lost the 2016 popular vote because they're all out to get him, the chair of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) asked him to please stop undermining Americans' faith in the fairness of our elections. Haha, like that's going to happen! In the past week, Trump has lied about nonexistent election fraud in New Hampshire, griped that California and other states sabotaged his fraudulent voter commission to cover up "proof" of voter fraud, and has floated a bizarre conspiracy theory about Google unfairly manipulating election results with its search algorithms somehow. The guy who insisted in 2016 the election would be "rigged" because he thought he'd lose is certainly not going to start becoming a fan of reality now.

FEC Chair Ellen Weintraub went on CNN last night to make the quaint suggestion that the "president" of the USA shouldn't casually toss around suggestions that widespread voter fraud is a thing.

"Facts matter, and people of America need to be able to believe what their leaders tell them. It is damaging to our democracy to spread information that [...] is baseless. There is no evidence of rampant voter fraud in 2016, or really in any previous election. "

Fuck Trumpski and his fox-facts:).

‘This is how he gets us killed’: American Jews and allies horrified after Trump blurts out anti-Semitic trope

President Donald Trump blurted out another anti-Semitic trope during his brief press availability Tuesday in the Oval Office.

Trump has been having a kind of holy war with Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), two of just three Muslim officials in Congress. When speaking to the press Tuesday, he claimed that Jews have no business supporting Democrats because they’re anti-Semitic. But then he took it a step further.

“Any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat — I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or great disloyalty,” Trump said.

Well we know how much to trust what Trumpski spouts, right?

Say What You Will About Anthony Scaramucci, But He's Driving Trump BUGF*CK

As we write this, the president has sent 21 tweets or retweets in the last hour. That number is certain to change, as this morning's manic episode approaches its climax. One thing he hasn't tweeted so far is the news that he's a grandfather again, as Eric and Lara Trump welcomed another spawn into the world last night. That might change, of course. It's just that Grandpa Baby Shits has bigger and better priorities, as he is a very important man -- like starfucking Fox News personalities and whining about his crowd sizes and retweeting his own batshit conspiracy theories about Google stealing votes from him and retweeting Geraldo saying "Ha ha" in response to his tweet from last night, when he promised not to build a gaudy tasteless gold trash palace in the middle of Greenland, which, because he is an absolute fucking idiot, is a thing he still thinks he might be allowed to buy (and then default on the loan most likely).

Scaramucci published a new op-ed in the Washington Post last night, which we imagine is contributing to at least 89 percent of the leader of the free world's current syphilis dementia temper tantrum. Here's a chunk of it:

" This isn't a Road to Damascus moment; my concerns have been building publicly for a while. And I'm not seeking absolution. I just want to be part of the solution. The negatives of Trump's demagoguery now clearly outweigh the positives of his leadership, and it is imperative that Americans unite to prevent him from serving another four years in office. [...]

For those paying attention, my public criticism of the president has been mounting over the past two years. His response to the neo-Nazi march in Charlottesville was repellent. I was appalled by the administration's child-separation policy along the southern border. His ranting about the news media as the "enemy of the people" was dangerous and beyond the pale. But the final straw came last month when Trump said on Twitter that four congresswomen — all of them U.S. citizens, and three native-born — should "go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came."

While it's difficult and embarrassing to admit my errors in judgment, I believe I still have the ability to make amends. [...]

I challenge my fellow Republicans to summon the nerve to speak out on the record against Trump. Defy the culture of fear he has created, and go public with the concerns you readily express in private. Hold on to your patriotism, and help save the country from his depredations. And to members of the so-called resistance, please leave room on the off-ramp for those willing to admit their mistakes."

Keep the hits coming Mooch!:):D:D:D:D:)

Scaramucci might wind up to be a good communications director after all.

Can't say as I'm a fan of the Goog either......

Trump attacks on Google recycles baseless claims

Federal News Network | Tue Aug 20, 2019 21:28 UTC

President Donald Trump has been on a tear about Google that traces back to a series of unfounded claims about the technology giant circulating among conservatives...
