That's odd

When I went to bed last night, one of my stories had received twenty ratings total, rougly two years after its admission to Chyoo.
This morning when I logged in I found that those twenty had grown to a grand total of seventy-two! Crikey!
Has anyone else had such growth in ratings happen to them in such a short time?

Not in that amount of time. The most I've gotten is about a dozen in a day.

My previous high in one day before this was probably half a dozen, quite a lot less than the fifty-six that I get if count in gizmo's feedback. Odder still is that after I searched on it, it looked almost like someone had spam-rated the threads, handing out 4 or 5 for three or four threads in one minute (all 52 ratings came within a fifteen-minute span, IIRC).
Better than getting 1:s and 2:s, I guess....

When the ratings worked and I had stories in the Top 5, some jealous people would systematically go through my whole story and vote each thread a 1. It could be 50-100 votes in about 15 minutes.

How incredibly childish. I hope that you at least didn't get spammed a lot of derogatory feedback.

Not from them but I have had abusive feedback from another person.
