Hubby saw an article in USA Today that listed the top 10 worst places in the States to drive. Half were in Florida and # 8 *drum roll* was good ole Jax.
Had they been here researching the article today, we would have made # 1!!!

I swear to you,the traffic here is unbelievable.

You would tink that shopping for gifts was right up there with stocking up for a war,the way these people drive. It took me an hour to go 2 miles,as the police were doing the redlights manually. I almost rear ended a fella in a brand new truck. Poor thing,he almost wet himself I think,after seeing his reflection in his mirror.

Look on your list at Seattle! For eight years, our socialist in Olympia has pledged to fix our road system. I've lived up here off and on for about twenty-five years..and we have the same I-5 as we had back then. The legislature votes for more money, then they put it in the general fund, where all the hot little hands can dig in for their pet projects! That's why I'm looking for a job out of this special intrest utopia. I hope they rot in their own filth. Oh yeah, your thread......I'm staying home and driving after 3 a.m.!

Yup, construction has a lot to do with the traffic trouble. If the signs warning you that a 4 lane road narrows to 1 were placed a bit farther back, rather than 1/2 a block, it would help. I guess that would just make entirely too much sense.
