with the two babes brawling in the pool while ripping off their clothes...

It seems to be getting lots of press about how sexist and wrong it is for TV.

What is your opinion?

I like the look on the girlfriends' faces while the idiots in the bar are saying, "Who wouldn't like a commercial like that!"

Morons.

You know I saw a 2nd part of that commercial for the first time last night. When they were in the cement, they got to their knee's and looked at each other and I THINK(not sure) the brunette said "Let's makeout".

I think that ad is very funny! Of course the punchline is when it cuts to the two guys in the bar smiling wide at the idea of the commercial, then cuts to the two women (presumably S.O's) with a less than impressed look on their face.

Hell the first thought after I saw that ad was "I wonder how many different ways those women (the ones in the bar) can say 'no sugar tonight'!"

If anything, it was making fun of men and their love of beer commercials featuring near-naked women.

as a female, I think it's completly obnoxious, rude, and brash.

So, of course, I love it!

The DJ's for the 80's station here in town posed the same question this morning. My conversation with them went something like this:

"Hey, I was beginning to wonder if you guys were ignoring the phone because you knew the crazy bitch was calling"

*laughter*

"I'm calling about the commercial question"

"Okay"

"I think that commercial is *so* hilarious, I crack up every time I see it."

"Really? I'm surprised that most of the women calling in feel the same way"

"Yep. I'm with you guys. The punchline of the commercial is the looks the guys get from their girlfriends at the end."

"See, we think that's the whole point of the commercial"

"Exactly. I just wanted to say that I think it's a great commercial and I have absolutely no problems with it"

"Well, we've heard that they are going to edit that commerical to have two guys at the end in briefs. What do you think about that?"

"I don't know, that could be pretty scary"

*more laughter*

I think you can assume from this conversation that I don't have any problems with the commercial.

I don't think either sex should be offended by that commercial! It makes fun of both sides and is pretty darn funny to boot!

Of course I'll have to tape it & watch it at half speed countless times for further analysis, but I think I like the commercial!;)
