It's a rush and I remember being thrilled(because it had been rejected previously for dialogue tags) but also a little nervous as it was the first time anyone but wife and a couple of friends read anything I had written.

Like you, mine was in BDSM. I got three decent comments on it and now looking back I see the vote totals and views were low. But I was brand new.

The story had an H for the first year, but has since gone down. Also got some rude remarks with the grammar(deserved I will say).

I wonder how I would have taken it if the rude ones were first? Its now my lowest scored story because it has a low vote total and is the only one of mine easily trolled.

Do yourself a favor and resist the inclination to respond to the nasty ones, which inevitably will come, just because that's how some people are. Just ignore them, and there's actually a way to delete them should you be so inclined.
