Seems the people at Gary Condit’s office are getting just a bit testy over the continuing Chandra Levy affair. Condit’s PR flack is a lovely woman named Marina Ein. Well, it turns out that Ein’s efforts on behalf of Condit are going to include an attempt to trash the reputation of Chandra. In an Salon.com interview Ein actually said that Chandra Levy has a “ .. history of one-night stands.”
Nice, huh? Now, let a spokesman for a Republican politician make such a statement --- and stand back while the NOW mavens flock to the scene like so many old crows. But, alas! Condit is a Democrat. Can you say “free pass?”
By the way – is anyone interested in just who is footing the legal bills for Condit? He has no reportable assets of his own --- and this stuff is getting expensive. He refuses to answer questions on where the money is coming from.
