Thanksgiving

OK, now that the world series is at an end, *SOB*

I need to know who to expect here for turkey day dinner. What are you all planning for the holiday?

Last year, the day after Thanksgiving, we had a Lit party here in Syracuse. It was a blast...

Thanksgiving this year...

My ex husband, his wife, my husband, me, all 10 of "our" kids, my mom, and my ex husbands parents are all spending Thanksgiving together here at my house.

We haven't made the menu yet, but i'm sure it will be the traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings. I'm making pies in the next few weeks (well the pie stuff, will make the actual pies the day before)

This will be our first holiday together. I hope it becomes a tradition.

I hope all goes well for you and your family. I have worked hard over the years to have a decent relationship with my ex. Only 2 kids involved here and both now over 21

I get along great with him and his wife. We all went out on Saturday night and had a blast. My kids are thrilled with this arrangement.. and they are the only ones that matter.. right?

It makes more sense than being in continual conflict....

I must say, I think my kids ended up better for it. Especially once they learned they could not play the two of us off one another...
