Thanks for the past 4 years of friends and poetry. I was going to simply leave, but it didn't seem right to walk away from so many who have meant so much to me.
Ange, Lauren, I doubt you need another mod, but if you do, I know you'll find a replacement for me.
I'm hoping to have the rest of my poetry saved in another few days, then I'll ask Laurel to remove it. If there is anything you may want to read, now is this time. I'm telling you this because I hate to look for a poem and realize that the poet has removed all his work.

Are you going to bring back Eve's Habit? I think I really need to know your poems are out there somewhere for me to read time and time again. They're too good to simply disappear from the net. You're too good a poet.

Hmm I can't say I've noticed any politics on this site and thought it was the one thing that was missing. Nothing like a bit of politics to stimulate the grey matter into finding something to write about but I guess that is just me.

I've been staying away from the threads precisely because of the lack of action and debate. Obviously something must be going on behind the scenes.

Eve? Ange? I don't know what this is about, but I do know this. If you leave then the dickless wonder wins. Is that what you want? You know you'll both miss this place, and you'll come back and lurk, and one day you'll pop back in and it'll all be over.

I also know this. To one degree or another we've all been assholes at one time or another. There are some here who are downright ignorant, but you 2 seem to get along good w/ them. Its all relative, you know.

You'll be missed. But is being missed worth leaving cuz someone got to you? Out the fucker! Or better yet, The Silent Treatment. No one likes to be ignored. Usually they just slink away if they're ignored long enough.

And as Mods, next time a thread opens that isn't a positive influence on this forum, shut it down. It's that easy.

I have to agree about the backbiting: most definitely. I also have to add that I don't feel the poetry board to be very professional. This is one of the reasons why I took down my poetry in the first place. I am slowly submitting my poems back, and saying "who the hell cares?"

From what I've seen and read, erotic poetry doesn't sell: erotic stories do mostly, and it's not very much money. Most of my work is dark, and I only have a few that are erotic. It's all about fun for me. (The erotic ones, that is.)

to find backbiters on this site..it must be going on behind the scenes ...for I have seen most of the treads and found most everyone very polite and forthright and very helpful..whatever is going on ...it can not be undone...this site is filled with wonderful people who do not deserve being lumped into a space that has no purpose other than to
cause hurt feelings..and control into someone elses Ideas and perception that are not real...in the first place...lots/of/loveis lol to me in case anyone misreads that too...

read 'Close Call IN A Blues Bar' before you're gone for good. It is one
