More accurately this shows what a failure Biden is and how evil the Republicans are. We should have hit 70% more than a month ago. Large gatherings should be safe by now.

It's not Biden's fault we didn't reach 70 percent on July 4th. It is entirely the fault of those shoving misinformation on the situation. The Biden administration has done everything it can to get this done--and it's worked miracles in contrast to what the Trump administration did (and Trump is still causing).

To answer the question of what have Repubz done? They have flooded the media, social and otherwise with misinformation, never stopped going to large gatherings or even spoke about a lack of mask wearing as a matter of pride.
The buck stops at the top. If he's not up to the job of it we have to accept its his fault because it is. Now that isn't to say we had better options. We don't and didn't but a man owns up.

Exactly how is it his fault that the opposing party has done everything they could to make sure he fails at each and every thing he tries to do (vaccinations most of all)? How is it his fault that every time he tries to address the pandemic, they twist his words any way they can get away with to make it sound nefarious? Surely you remember when he suggested going door to door to offer vaccines to those who need them, and next thing you knew people were convinced he was sending jackbooted thugs to their door to hold them down and jab them, and probably collect all their private information for the gummint, and probably even give them affordable health care or something.
It's noble to say the buck stops here. But in this case it's also incredibly naive. He's literally got a cottage industry working against him every step of the way, as is the case with every Democratic president anymore if it comes to that. I don't see how anyone could have done better than he has. Another Democrat would face the same sabotage, and a Republican simply wouldn't bother trying.
