Dow Falls More Than 500 Points in Worst Week Since October

https://www.newsmax.com/newsfront/dow-falls-markets-rate/2021/06/18/id/1025625/

Stocks fell on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average posting its worst weekly loss since October, as traders worried the Federal Reserve could start raising rates sooner than expected.

The three main Wall Street indexes all finished sharply lower on Friday, after investors were spooked by hawkish interest rate comments by Federal Reserve official James Bullard.....

Who was in the White House in October?

You mean who kept the country on track during the so called greatest pandemic of our time? Had the highest Dow and had lower unemployment than o'bummer ever had, going into the pandemic?
Hmmmm, let me think!

Anyone else notice this Wrong-Way McQuack post both belittles the Covid-19 pandemic's severity and then goes on to acknowledge its severity?

DJIA = Dow Jones Industrial Average.

This is why shyguy mostly only posts other's memes. Every time he posts his own thoughts, he shows off his ignorance.

Yet he claims to have gone to college. In reality, I'm thinking he must have gone to Trump University.

Too fucking funny.......

Interesting article discussing the 1918 impact from the pandemic on the economy.

The impact lasted until 1923ish, though the article discusses how it's not definitive correlation.

It's difficult, right now to understand inflation due to monetary injection and supply shortages which are clogged by shutdowns. Lumber prices seem to point to a more short term impact.

I'm honestly surprised that the Feds have kept the interest rates as low for as long as they have. But it definitely be er ceases to amaze me how knee jerk sensitive the markets are to even the suggestion

To be fair to Shy Boi's own thoughts, most of the memes he regurgitates on here are factually incorrect and deliberately wrong as well.

which ironically might've put him on the level of an adjunct professor's position at Cheeto's failed learning establishment!

Peoples wallets are sensitive, start devaluing their money don't be shocked when they freak out. ;)

"Worst week since October" is not exactly on the big news level of "biggest loss ever," which we saw just last year under ... um, a different president.

Democrats are going to do to America what they do everywhere else they rule, create another big blue shithole.

Thank you for continuing to bump this thread. More people need to see this. :D

Also nice: seeing a Deplorable triggered enough to do a triple post within seconds. lol

Nothing Trump did was responsible for it.

That's funny.

From Day One to the last hour of Obama's two-term tenure, the collective Right incessantly made anything and everything negative happening during it his fault. From economic to social to environmental.

Every dip downward on The Rich People's Feelings Index Chart® prompted several doomsday shill threads by the sundry schmucks here. Many then Tweets by your future marmalade overlord fed into this automatic accusatorial reactive mindset as well.

surprises no one that none of you held or will hold Cheeto to the same standard.

awwwwww

Looks like you're gonna have to bust another move soon, then. This time internationally.

Bye-bye Idaho, hello Philippines!
