God, I feel sure that I know this person "Richard M" who wrote me about one of my poems, but I can't for the life of me remember who he is. He called me Kate so I think that means we've exchanged emails before.

Anyway, since he left no return address, and my memory is a sieve, I felt I had to thank him here, hoping he'll see my acknowledgement.

Richard, I deeply appreciate your feedback. I have no doubt that your vote must have pushed this poem onto the top list, something that both thrills and scares me. What I appreciate more than the vote is the specifics of your feedback. I adore knowing that certain phrases "made you glow" and which words didn't work ("carnal" and "covetous").
