Recall that I dont like McCain, either. It was a no win outcome for me. I'm not expecting much from Obama; he's as inexperienced today as he was yesterday. Plus 75% of America is still white.

Florida passed a Gay Marriage Ban, so this was good.

The Democrats failed to capture control of the US Senate as they expected.
The Democrats didnt make the gains they expected in the House.
Both of these are good.

And the Centrist Republicans are repudiated. Another plus.

When the wreckage is cleared the Republicans will recall that they cant win elections without the conservative base. We're not going away.

Obama has articulated no positions that I know of. In 6 months you may wonder what in hell you got for your vote.
