I published my first submission, My Fall and Rise, Chapter One, on July 9, 2017. For more than a year, it has had a score of 4.49. Today, with the 315th vote, it hit 4.50.

I know it doesn't really matter much, but I am now a perfect 35/35 on red H's. It feels pretty good.


(And yes, I expect to get 1 bombed now.)

Congratulations! I know what it feels like to anticipate that. I've had a story at 4.49 for at least a year. It's the first chapter in a series, just like yours, and every other chapter is over 4.50, but this one just can't seem to get over the hump. I keep expecting it, though without holding my breath. Glad to see your story finally got there.

Yes. My experience with a good fuck is that I'm seldom concerned about the motive behind it.

Prudence dictates that I not brag of my higher-scored pieces, lest I be targeted. I don't mind pushing my low-scorers -- they can use more attention. Especially Big Banana in IT, my most-viewed and lowest-scored story, still above 2.00.

I can't even imagine, I have like maybe half of my stories posted that are 4.5 or above. And I have this stupid perfectionist problem and if I could delete stories that fall below 4.5 I would and that would kinda suck because of the two series I've posted here, on both of them the first chapter is only at 4 so no HOT rating

I keep telling myself...I write for myself so it doesn't matter if other people hate what I write...and hopefully one day I'll believe it

I have a couple of H's, but more often my chapters float around in the 4.45-4.49 range. It's kind of frustrating!

I had a story at 4.5 for awhile that probably only barely deserved it. Last month it finally slipped to 4.49, which I figure served it right. It’s so hard to get votes after so much time passes.
