WEll after todays go at work its pretty much a 3 week vacation coming up, good thing I have the rent and electricity and phone and cable all payed up.

I guess its job hunt time.

well I am normally self employed with my main out source being my landlords with 8 buildings to maintain, but they are dual citizens and they are heading out next weeek to visit thier son, daughter and grand daughter in the states, they going to be gone for a few weeks and i have nothing lined up with my other work sources, so maybe I will just have to get out and find a part time, i prefer self employement cause I can make my own hours.

Now that I can understand,,,

Self employed here as well,,, I do it for the same reason that you gave plus I REALLY hate having to say yes sir/mam to the same face every day regardless of whether he/she is right or not,,, had my fill of that in the military,,, this way, at least in my case, the faces and attitudes normally rotate every few months

I'm on a two week slow down here until my next project is approved by the local building inspection office, then I'll have 20+ residential units to oversee the construction of,,,

very true i hate that yes sir no maam routine to the very core of my being, plus even on a 20 hour week I make more self employed after i take the taxes out for the books than I do working a 44 hour minimum wage job. with nothing taken out
